That makes sense. I was hoping that model Y acceleration would mean the CT would start production a little sooner as well. GigaShangai should relieve Fremont of the Model 3 production mostly, so that should help with the CT... just my thoughts

Allow for the RWD and Dual motor versions to upgrade the battery to get more mileage out of it if wanted...

I'm new to Tesla, test drove the Model 3 last year and pre ordered the Cybertruck the night it was unveiled. I chose the dual motor, 300 miles version. I'm just wondering, if by the time production starts rolling if the batteries will have a higher mileage capacity than what is available now...
