Foundation vs standard choice is exagerating reservation declines

I mean...... This is not poor communication. Tesla is not going to say in advance when regular units will go up for sale, this is obvious. Is the ask here really that you want to be able to talk to someone so that they can tell you " We're not going to say in advance when regular units will...

    Struggling in insurance in WA

Try going through https://www.experian.com/insurance/car-insurance-quotes/ They were able to provide Cybertruck quotes from companies like progressive who wouldn't do so directly.

    Delivery day checklist

I'm an easy going guy. My delivery day checklist: -Check for exterior or interior damage and if any found, take pictures as proof for a future service call. -Check if doors open -Check if vehicle powers on If the above checks out and is acceptable, drive home. :D

Dallas Delivery Experience 4/22 - Heads up on Financing Checks in TX

Hmm, that's strange. I assumed all delivery locations, except those on native/tribal land, accepted payments. Glad you got it sorted though.

3 Motors ratio to 2 Motors deliveries?

https://www.cybertruck.vin/ could provide a rough idea i'd say.

VIN to Delivery (Estimate from Tesla)

Yeah, who knows how they actually weight each of these factors, it's certainly confusing for the customer. I would have preferred if they simply offered FS invites starting with lowest res #, and then deliver starting by earliest order date. Seems simple to me especially considering they are...

VIN to Delivery (Estimate from Tesla)

. For VIN/delivery, it's roughly this for order of operations. Model(AWD or Cyberbeast) State Order date reservation # So an AWD ordered in California in Dec with a low res # is first. A cyberbeast ordered in Alaska in Feb with a higher res # is last. An AWD ordered in Minnesota in Jan...

    Acknowledgement of lacking features predelivery

While i would have liked a few things immediately at delivery like diff lockers and a few other software tweaks (proper towing vehicle visualization), i kind of like being an early adopter and getting significant feature updates OTA. FS is a choice. Folks who don't like being early adopters...

    Tour Giga Texas Factory?

No tours currently except through the referral points program, which is not offered at this time. In the Tesla app you can get notified when available, but this won't help you in the near term.

Selling Cybertruck - approval from Tesla required?

I highly doubt Tesla will go after an individual who is simply selling the vehicle in good faith. If i was forced to sell my truck, i would just do it seeing that we are almost 5 months into production and a third of the way into 2024. Those who try to abuse the system or do shady things on the...

Changing tires on Cybertruck. Anyone know??

There are some restrictions, particularly in the front because of the clearance to the upper ball joint stud . I personally have no experience (yet), but check this video and general for more info.

Changes to Motor Vehicle Purchase Agreement

Some of you guys are nuts. :D The "standard connectivity for eight years" excerpt is simply part of the standard MVPA for all vehicles. https://www.tesla.com/support/connectivity . Tesla is not going to rug pull premium connectivity. Lifetime premium connectivity is included in the FS...

That Raptor would be gone in seconds if it were me. :) Cybertruck is IT.

Air compressor system needs water draining sometimes?

Negative. The CT air suspension system is not crude like a mechanic's air compressor unit. Any modern air suspension vehicle will have moisture handled. The CT air suspension system is made by suppliers who have done this stuff before.

$100K Delivery Expectations- Am I being too Picky?

That is pretty dirty. I've never taken delivery of a vehicle where the detailing team has done a better job than i can do in 30 min or so, but, it seems they put little to no effort into this one.

Beware of FSD - Stay Alert

FSD is not yet enabled on the CT at this time. so this is not really on topic. Also kind of strange that on a Tesla vehicle forum, you do not list any Tesla vehicles under your profile. This could be viewed as FUD by some.....
