The latest version seems to be improved, still needs to move a bit faster but it seems to be less clunky. I for one would definitely use it in certain situations.
Likely a copy paste of the release notes between models.
I do hope it's to arrive very soon now however with the merging of the driving / parking stacks.
Everything is great as is, so I can't really think of anything outside of maybe some significant FSD feature only available on the new model. I'm not sure what that feature would be though.
Here it is very slushy and overly salty, so cameras are probably a bit grimey, even after only 30 miles and starting with them cleaned.
I had red hands at least 5 times today, and when it occurs it flips on the hazards, so that's where I mean drivers might be getting confused. Otherwise it's...
This is not really an issue. Some people made a big fuss about it but I had zero issues last winter in New York. If people let snow accumulate there and then the conditions are so that it melts and refreezes, then that is their own fault.
FSD with v14 is interesting in inclement weather.
On one hand, obviously v14 is much better in terms of detecting poor weather and then driving accordingly. On the other hand, this seems to bring many more failures (red hands) than previous versions. I had a red hands takeover on every single...
They have positive gross margin on the platform, so that is good, as a Tesla investor. Of course it would have been nice if the CT replaced the F150 in america, but that was never likely to happen.
I do kind of like that they have not taken over the roads as I enjoy having a unique vehicle.
It's to do with locale and what speed profiles people use.
People who use standard and don't strictly drive in the city or busy highways are not having a good experience with 14.2, particularly those who drive in/through rural areas.
People who drive in a city or stay on hurry and mad max, and...
Minor update, after resetting my work location pin, it now once again finds and backs into my work charger, so that is good. However, the parking job was not great, as others have reported.
Yup. Iām now back to fiddling with speed profiles during my hour commute, versus on 14.1.7 and even 13.2.9, where it literally never left standard.
I do hope this gets fixed quickly
Welp, drove around a bit more, i officially want 14.1.7 back.
14.2 is over nerfed, so i essentially need to be in a hurry to drive normally like everyone else around me, except on open back roads where itās a few mph too fast, where before it was perfect on standard. Also, at the same time, on...
Well, first driveā¦
-Speed profiles toned down. The whiner folks on X have really done it. Itās like each speed profile moved left one or two slots. Iām now getting passed on mad max on the thruway, hurry is like 5 over, standard was 1mph under the limit often.
-3 brake stabs on one drive. Iāve...
Thereās not a ton of depth in terms of use cases currently.
One is during heavy rain, or, after rain and the vehicle is sitting in deep puddles.
The second, maybe for women. Perhaps it is late at night and a suspicious person or vehicle is noticed near the vehicle. The truck could be summoned...
Looks good for me now, it took a few days but my driveway is now a private road and now the CT comfortably navs in to it to my parking spot. My life is complete. š
Just curious, how long did it take after your road was added to Google maps before navigation took you into your driveway? I see my driveway/road exists now on Google maps, but itās not yet navigating down it.
