I'll just buy the 18" and wait for people to sell their premiums at a highly discounted rate when they want to upgrade. In lots of case as soon as they get the truck. That's how I got my current tires at half price almost brand new.
Yeap, I think that the dual motor will be released first followed by the tri motor later in the year similar to what happened with the Model 3 single came out first followed by the dual later on.
Way to expensive especially for how easy it will be to wrap the CyberTruck since it is all straight edges. I would just purchase some high quality wrap and do it myself.
Exactly what I have been saying for a while. They are going to go with the most expensive option of a what they have done already. And that is the dual motor. Love it when I am right. Now we just need to see what the price will be.
Yeap, got used to it when I got my first year Nissan LEAF. People would stop and talk about it. They could not believe that it was pure electric and had no engine. I did not mind, all in the name of promoting EVs.
Yeap, me either didn't put one on my 1995 Camaro Z28, 2011 LEAF, 2019 Model 3 LR, or 2023 Model 3 SR. Technically they can give you a ticket but I don't think that happens very often. I have even been stopped for speeding and didn't get a ticket for that and was let off of the speeding ticket.
How do you know priority will be given to tri and quad motor versions? How do you know if they will even be ready by production time? For the model 3 the LR rear wheel drive came out first to simplify production. The dual motor and performance didn't come out till later.
Man, I am a Tesla fanatic and currently own a M3 and have a very early CT reservation, with in the first seconds of him announcing the URL to reserve, but some of the people on this site go way over board on the fanaticism. Elon can take a dump on the floor and say there is your CT and they...
Given the huge increase in prices for all the current production vehicles. Do you think that the Cybertruck will get an increase in price before it gets released? I don't remember Tesla ever increasing the quoted price before production but who knows.
It wouldn't have to be a very complicated system either just a spring and latch that releases when your phone is recognized. My Model 3 already recognizes when I get near it all they have to do is tell the computer to release the door and the spring will open it up. Probably less complicated...
