I put on a set of LTX a couple thousand kilometres ago and happy with them so far. I'd say they're similar in noise and feel to the original Goodyear all-terrain's and definitely quieter than the Duratracs (which I have as a second set for winter). What I like about the LTX is they are load...

All valid points and I agree, probably not the best set up for Boondocking. And now you've spurred me on to do a test run with a 20 pound tank and see exactly how many miles I get... that would be good to know!
This is just cheap insurance, I have several propane tanks and this compact unit only...
