And now you've spurred me on to do a test run with a 20 pound tank and see exactly how many miles I get... that would be good to know! This is just cheap insurance, I have several propane tanks and this compact unit only...

I use a liner in mine, which takes most of the abuse. It's easy to yank out and hose off. Not sure if your truck comes with floor liners for the inside.. You can probably pick up a full liner package to cover everything... the bed, smugglers bay, frunk, driver side, passenger side, and rear...
