It is from a left over peel-off protective film! :) I suggest removing it soon, as they tend to harden from the UV light and then they will be difficult or impossible to remove!
Yes, strange. If from Sun exposure, it should be on both buttons!. My guess is that the adhesive reacted with the paint layer.
Or it was always like that and I didn't notice. :)
That's strange. I just noticed it today. The other 3 buttons are perfect (100% black).
Black mask paint being dissolved by the adhesive?
[SOLVED!] -- it was a peel-off protective film -- needs to be removed.
Yes. The panels are bolted to the chassis, you can use any material, like thicker armour, etc, but why?
Here is a pic of the chassis, you can see the mounting bolts.
I need to secure a power amplifier (RF amplifier) and other electronics under the rear seats, can I do so using some 1 1/2" self tapping screws? I probed the carpet with a needle and it seems to go in, there is some sort of semi-soft material under (foam?). From the pictures I see, there is...
The Scorpion will look great on Cybertruck! I might go to IDXC on Saturday, thank you for pointing this out! My tank will be easy to spot in the parking lot. :)
For powering my IC-705, I am using a USB-PD 15V "trigger" cable... At ~2A load I get a ~0.5V drop across the cable. Maximum voltage...
I worked at night on my cybertruck installing things, I noticed that the interior lights are weaker than an Iphone flashlight.
You drop something on the floor, good luck finding it at night. LED lights are cheap, I wonder why CT doesn't have stronger interior lighting, is this a safety issue...
That's possible as well!... "Amateur Radio (ham radio) is a hobby and service that brings people, electronics and communication together". The fun thing is that you can use a lot of power (up to 1500 watts) on shortwave (worldwide), VHF, UHF and microwave bands using voice and digital modes.
I have a Model Y 2021-ish, the one with the heat pump. I get broadband HF noise when accelerating and when turning on the HVAC everything goes to S9. VHF/UHF is clean. Maybe it is due to my poor setup, I have lip-mounts installed on the trunk, probably not the best ground plane, no ground strapping.
Thank you for your reply and good to know. Yes, it happens with both light acceleration or regen. I hope it is a motor(s) calibration issue, some sort of low-duty cycle feedback loop that becomes a little unstable at light loads. My VIn is ~34xx.
