  1. When you ordered your CT back in Nov 2019....

When I placed my order, back in 2019, 30-45 seconds after the URL unveil, I had to enter my information by hand and I was not logged into my Tesla account. A few days later my CT was added to my account. MY RN number is 112754xxx Was I supposed to be logged into my Tesla account at ordering...
  2. Dear Cybertruck owners and future 10K owners such as myself:

-Expect software annoyances and feature unavailability. Tesla Model 3 owner, 2017, VIN 2K. -Because of a different network and Medium Voltage architecture, expect more problems, some can be fixed with software, some not. -The 1-10K Cybertrucks will have most problems followed by software and...
  3. Removing everything plastic from a Cybertruck: Hidden tailgate accessory space?

This video is interesting, is so quick, I had to stop the frame several times to understand the parts. Looks like it is super-easy to repair and allows all kinds of electrical and mechanical mods, everything is nicely exposed... I wonder what is the function of that rectangular void in the...
  4. How to route an antenna cable?

Any suggestions on how I can run a thin coax from inside the cabin to the outside for VHF/UHF/HF antennas? I am thinking of using the Light Bar Accessory port and have the antennas mounted on roof rack rails (provided that the rails are electrically connected to the chassis) I still prefer...
  5. what is the purpose of those stripes (grooves?) in the rubber (?) at the bottom of the center console?

what is the purpose of those stripes (grooves) in the rubber (?) at the bottom of the center console similar to the rubber mats? Are those to anchor different equipment (like radios, accessories) or are they for water draining? Are they T-slots or just grooves.? Sorry for using the wrong...
  6. OK, split battery charging, but how about extender charging?

We all know that CT employs 'split battery pack charging' to accommodate 400V DC chargers. What happens when a range extender is present? Does it get split as well and charge 4 batteries of different capacities in parallel or sequential? So many HV contractors, so many relays.... Or does it...
  7. Cybertruck vault leak in rain: a bit disappointing

    This is not ideal... :(
  8. BaseCamp Tent info/specs/pics from Cybertruck Accessories Engineer ⛺️

I was at the delivery event and got to talk with one of the Accessories engineers, here is what I learned about the tent, please see my pictures below. 1) The structure is inflatable to 8PSI. The tent comes with a manual air pump (see pictures). Is much faster to inflate with a manual pump. 2)...
  9. 500 mile Cybertruck w/o Si cathode? How about the Panasonic/Japan 4680 cell?

During Q2/2023 earnings report, Tesla stated this. (see below). That makes me think that the 500-mile Cybertruck won't be available right away. Also, Panasonic stated last year that their 4680 cell for Tesla will be available in Q2/24 and my guess is that this Panasonic/Japan cell will actually...
  10. Interior safety release button / cord for accidental locking of Cybertruck vault?

Is there a button inside the Cybertruck vault, in case somebody gets accidentally (or intentionally) locked inside? Thanks
  11. Cybertruck 3mm body: hail resistant?

I've been watching some terrible hailstorms lately and that got me thinking: Provided that the glass can take or not take a large hailstorm, what do you think would happen to the 3mm stainless steel body and the Alu vault?
  12. Slanted upper door panels

I like how the upper part of the door panel is now slanted instead of 90 degrees. Looks 'sporty" but I also see extra functionality... A grab handle?
  13. Cybertruck has dual 8" subwoofers! 🔊 🔊

Looks like Cybertruck will have a killer sound system. Dual subwoofers! Nice! Elon replies: "You can play Cyberpunk, Elden Ring and 1000s of other games in your *car* with an epic sound system!!"
  14. oleophobic and (super)hydrophobic coating on Cybertruck?

Stainless steel is not oleophobic by nature. It can accumulate fingerprints and smudges quite easily. I've seen it in all situations, polish grain or texture... An eye sore. I like getting my car dirty but I also expect a 'like new look" after washing. I wonder if the CT stainless steel sheet...
  15. Cybertruck SuperCharing @ 400V?

I believe that most US Superchargers support only 400V charging, which will cause compatibility issues for the Cybertruck with older Tesla SuperCharging stations. Is there a workaround to enable 400V DC charging on an 800V system, such as dividing/splitting the battery? Is this feasible or not?
  16. Cybertruck low voltage 48V battery capacity

Most Teslas use 12V/45Ah batteries, about 0.5kWh capacity. Considering that CT will have steer-by wire and other power accessories, what do you think the capacity will be in Ah? 1) 0.5 kWh 1) 1 kWh 2) 2 kWh 4) 4 kWh My take -- while a bigger battery might seem as deadweight, I think that...
  17. Cleaning Cybertruck

I usually don't clean the exterior of my white Tesla Model Y but THIS gives me OCD. Looks like somebody attempted to clean it and it was not 'perfect'. Will all Cybertrucks look like this after few weeks of use?
  18. Stainless Steel Ceramic Coating

I know nothing about ceramic coatings on cars but they surely look shiny and easier to clean. I was watching a recent Cybertruck presentation (the second time when Elon and Franz von Holzhausen were pictured together near a Cybertruck) and I could not stop noticing a lot of fingerprints around...
  19. No Cybertruck Side Sails, for sure

I was hoping for side sails (like in original marketing pics) but this high-resolution video of the rear of the Cybertruck convinced me that there are no side sails. Notice how the steel is not "cut' where it should be for door opening. Maybe the side sails moved towards the interior of the...
  20. Am I looking at steer by wire? Notice the fast steering

Wow the steering moves so fast at low speeds!. Could this be a steer-by-wire setup?
