What are the dimensions of the rear interior window? Does anyone have them? mid this was removed or made on hinges that could be a good way to climb into the rear bed for stealth camping. most places who have signs no vehicle adapted for sleeping have wardens that are looking for windows that...

Just like power windows you have to be careful not to do them up with your head sticking out šŸ˜Æ same if you were sitting in the vault with youā€™re body sticking out or if you were climbing through from the can to the vault just donā€™t operate the vault cover
  3. Practical stealth (or boondock) camper

I I guess There will be many cool mods over the years, Iā€™m not going to be the first to make an access hatch through to the vault
  4. Practical stealth (or boondock) camper

I donā€™t see why you still could not have an opening in the bulkhead. As long as the vault is closed
  5. Practical stealth (or boondock) camper

Which YouTube? I canā€™t see it? did you forget to post the link? yes it will probably need the rear seats removed but I wondered about just folding the them up as can be seen here. I doubt there will be any wires or electrical components in this part of the bulkhead? Even if there is Iā€™m sure...

Some vanlifers are thinking full time living in their CT, Iā€™m going to be using it as my everyday vehicle for a family of five. Then occasionally camp trips for the misses and me. so all that would be required is cutting out the bulkhead under the window with a plasma cutter (assuming there are...
  7. Practical stealth (or boondock) camper

Yea you would not be able to get access through the cab with the tonneau open. But I would keep it closed nearly all the time. Just the same as electric windows donā€™t have your arm out the window when you are putting it upšŸ¤£
  8. Practical stealth (or boondock) camper

Iā€™m sure itā€™s possible to remove the back seat and even remove the entire bulkhead and glass panel above it? you Would then have a large living space and could design nice kitchen and worksurfaces with all mod cons
  9. Practical stealth (or boondock) camper

Hahahaha I was thinking about a longer hole for two people to slide through at the same time with a nice double bed in the vault. if itā€™s too troublesome to cut through the bulkhead then I wonder about the glass above it? Either cut an opening or somehow have the entire thing opening or...
  10. Practical stealth (or boondock) camper

I donā€™t want to complicate things, it would be very simple and easy to cut a hole in the bulkhead to be able to climb through to the vault from the cab
  11. Practical stealth (or boondock) camper

thanks Crissa Do you think it will be difficult to cut an access hatch in the bulkhead to get to the vault from the cab? what do you think about a kitchen type of thing along the rear seats either folding it upor keeping it there
  12. Practical stealth (or boondock) camper

The middle seat in the front row has now been changed into a padded storage box armrest type of thing. I hope it will be possible to sit on this facing backwards to use the kitchen boxes that I will make to go on the rear seats. Your head will be at the highest point of the CT in the cab so it...
  13. Practical stealth (or boondock) camper

how much room will be under the rear passenger seats I wonder? Has this info been released? will it be possible to slide into the vault from under the rear seats? Or will it be necessary to remove the rear seats altogether?
  14. Practical stealth (or boondock) camper

Yes they look perfect for the CT. but for those of us not wanting to tow something and keep the stealth aspect keep it all inside. I want to be able to park anywhere and nobody would know someone is sleeping in there
  15. Practical stealth (or boondock) camper

For those worried about the vault is not well insulated enough to sleep then you could easily build an insulated sleep pod that you could slide yourself into from the hatch under the rear seats. Then there would still be lots of room around the pod for storage of your gear.
  16. Practical stealth (or boondock) camper

I want to make a no build camp mode option that is removable. On the rear seats I would like to make a removable kitchen set, cool box and cooker, sink and work surfaces under that I really hope there is an option to access the vault from the cab if not then I will cut an access hatch myself...
  17. Practical stealth (or boondock) camper

I would like a simple pop up tent for the rear
  18. Practical stealth (or boondock) camper

There have been some amazing cabin in the woods type of designs that can fit in the back of a truck
  19. Practical stealth (or boondock) camper

Thinking about an amphibious camping box 8ā€™x4ā€™ with a pointy bow. it has to fit in the back bed of my cybertruck with the tail gate open. It will be on wheels so can be push up the ramp of the cybertruck. just enough room for a double bed and perhaps a galley box and porta loo. I was thinking...
