Tesla does not "slack on the details" and the Giga Press is for the frame (skateboard), not the stainless steel exoskeleton. The Cybertruck will be the most precisely built vehicle ever due to the simplicity of the design, raw material choices and automated assembly.
Not to say there won't be...
Well for give or take 30 bucks delivered from China (not the Gigafactory) I didn't expect perfection. Your observations are understood but a little weird unless of course it was just odd sarcasm. That's something I can relate to.
Umm, that's not what I bought ... I bought a Cybertruck that happens to be a bit small and has an unfortunate ICE Motor sound that I'm sure they licensed from Mattel. My hope is it will be fixed with an OTA update.
Come on now, this thread is getting just plain silly.
My investment in the 1/28th scale Cybertruck was 1/3 of the outlay for my full sized Cybertruck and, it arrived on time and at the original price. That's a win!
Yeah well beggars can't be choosers. To be honest, I'm not happy about the overall fit and finish (typical Tesla). Seems like it's made out of plastic ...
As if I needed another reason to NEVER go camping again (didn't : -)). I may offroad occasionally but camping in California is no longer enjoyable. Hanging out in the dirt with strangers isn't my idea being outdoors (insert "when I was a boy" story here) ;-)
I got the info from this youtube test. His methods seem reasonable and the results surprised him as well. I'm guessing the 70mph speed was a big factor.
I removed the Aero Caps on my Model Y and although it costs me a small mileage penalty, I prefer the look of the Gemini 19" stock RIM. The rims you see on these photos are probably the base tire rim. The CyberTruck being what it is, needs those Aero Caps to maximize the range potential so I'm...
To be honest, I have never thought "what a good looking vehicle". For me, it's all about reliability, durability, utility and economy (in no particular order). The Dual Motor with the newest battery technology at build time would be perfect.
My only desire to have the Cybertruck now is my age...
