I have a 400 mile version on pre-order, our next car will likely be either the Cybertruck, or the Aptera depending on what happens job wise in the next year.
I'm saying what I said because a constant no-start is one of the easiest things to diagnose even on new everything runs through the computer first cars.
Intermittent problems are far more difficult especially if the computer doesn't catch it.
We had the same problem with our 2015, they wanted $500 just to tow it to the shop and $1500 just to diagnose. I did a little online research and found it might be the dealer installed security system so I bypassed it and viola it started.
Edit to add: I am sorry but I really think the...
Both regularly complain and point out dead EA chargers.
They haven't had the chance to drive a Cybertruck yet, I expect they will sing its praises too as well as point out the better Tesla charging network.
I know TFL gets trucks handed to them so I do take their comments with a grain of salt...
I did read others, that were more recent but their main focus was not the different speeds, or their wasn't enough data. Several didn't back up their statements with any data.
Its a truck I use them as such, I already drive the same, typically at or just below the speed limit while towing. I also recognize that long range towing existing trailers is still a weak spot for EV's and will be for years to come.

Everyone I know tows big bricks at 75-80mph so yeah it is a realistic test... Heck heading south from Colorado on my last trip up there my wife and I were doing 75 on a two lane and the bricks were passing us.
Edit to add. The 6.2L Chevy in a previous test was getting 20mpg unloaded, got just...
Saw my first electric truck (Rivian) today 5 miles south of Los Lunas NM heading south. They might have been headed for Belen... or maybe as far as TorC, but between Albuquerque and El Paso TX there are no fast chargers except for a side jaunt to Carrizozo that the Rivian can use. To make...
Off-road is fairly loose, and depends on who and what their experience is. For me if it would be generally a bad idea to take a typical sedan down it, it counts as off-road.
Funny story
When my wife and I got married we took a cruise for our honeymoon. One of the stops had the option for a...
Puke orange then? I'm definitely not a fan of the color.
Much of the time though I only need room for 2 adults, some room for baggage, and lots of room for nasty dirty bulky items. While still able to maneuver in tight spaces. Which is the main reason we still have the Nissan
Also the...
The problem isn't really being able to carry the weight, I have a utility wagon rated for 1000lbs, and I have done it too. The problem is when you load it down the center of mass moves up and back and will make it rather tippy.
An opinion is an opinion, he states that this is his opinion many times. I think many of you are bashing him because you disagree with his opinion. He stated he is not a truck person anyways, so why giving it so much attention?
Saying that he does have a point. The following has lots of my...
We aren't attacking the Rivian, we agree it is a decently executed truck.
What we are attacking it the reporters lack of knowledge/experience by making the statement
The R1T isn't just an incredibly fast and impressive 3-second 0 to 60 street pickup with racing suspension right now. It also...
This right here is the main reason I am choosing Tesla for our first electric over any of the other options. I like what Ford has to offer, but charging on a trip will be significantly more of an issue.
I will second this. The range of vehicles you see on the trails vary a lot. I have $14k total into mine over the years, I know people with only $2-3k of purely junkyard and home built parts. I have also seen $250+k retired ultra4 rigs. Witnessed a dozen roll overs, been in one. Seen broken...
I is most likely the type of tire used. The compound is too hard for off-road, which is good for fuel economy but they tend to fracture. I had it happen on a few tires in the past
A friend on an off-roading trip blew 3 tires in one mile. Used his spare, someone else's spare, then had to send...
