    Powershare Install Completed

That's a decent amount and should offer some incentive to get CT solar charging to work. Often space is the limiting factor. Obviously while the grid is operational you can still charge from your on solar now anyway, so you're getting most of the benefit already. You can expect up to...

    Powershare Install Completed

As before it really depends on your objectives and reasons to do it. If you want energy independence thats one thing, but if you want to reduce costs, or increase redundancy for an outage, these are not all the same objectives, and the compromises between then become expensive. As a general...

    Powershare Install Completed

Ah ok. I stand corrected then, I haven't seen anything on their website about that. It really depends on the size of the solar system available and the percieved exposure to the risk of a power outage that doesn't allow you to charge the CT at home. 5kW of solar will only net you about 20kWh of...

    Powershare Install Completed

For this to work the Solar inverter needs to be on the backup side of the Gateway, but the CT would be blind to what output the solar is producing, and the Cybertruck itself could not charge from the solar at the same time. The CT is bi-directional, but can only do one way at a time through the...

Powershare (charger/gateway) returned to Tesla if not installed

We call those a go away quote. Make it high enough that you don't take it, but if you do anyway, they know they are ripping you off. There's also an element of I don't want to deal with this install/customer in there. Which is why it's so important to have at least to quotes. This is poor...

You can power your house with Cybertruck if you already have a Powerwall!! [confirmed by Drew Baglino of Tesla]

Is your Powerwall connected to your meter or your house swtchpanel? Do you have a sub-panel otherwise? Or Either seems to need a gateway.

You can power your house with Cybertruck if you already have a Powerwall!! [confirmed by Drew Baglino of Tesla]

The Gateway disconnects the grid part to the utility meter so you can operate the rest of the house off-grid. Otherwise the Powerwalls would export power to the grid when the grid is down. Not all networks accept the Gateway as the disconnect/Isolation device. Hence my statement that...

You can power your house with Cybertruck if you already have a Powerwall!! [confirmed by Drew Baglino of Tesla]

Yes, but only through the bed outlet that would not automatically switch between charge and discharge. For that you will need a powerwall, and a bi-directional Tesla Charger(possibly Gateway, depending on where it's implemented), with a custom interface to your own power setup as only the NACS...

You can power your house with Cybertruck if you already have a Powerwall!! [confirmed by Drew Baglino of Tesla]

Not sure if that statement is completely accurate. You will need the Gateway to isolate the grid from the house still at least, so just having two Powerwalls won't suffice to use the CT as a Powerwall when the grid fails.

    V2V DC charging

Let alone you'd blow something up in the process if you couldn't limit amp flow. My understanding is that the Supercharger handles all of this when DC charging, with the vehicle only providing telemetry back to the supercharger to set the correct values. In saying that it would be nice to have...

Possible Future Remedy for Cold Climate Range Issues….

If heat loss was a big problem in colder climates I would rather they use insulation instead to contain it. Normally you set the car to preheat everything before disconnecting the chatge cable. That way everything is warm already. You cold also use a heat recovery ventilation system to keep...

Range for AWD Cybertruck 200-250 miles after many real world tests

Some of this is derived from conversions and interviews with insiders that have been know even prior to the delivery event. There are supply constraints that will limit CB throughout the year, and EM seems to have made a decision to limit range accross models to get more AWD units out the door...

Range for AWD Cybertruck 200-250 miles after many real world tests

All multi motor Teslas optimise the drivetrain configuration for range by turning the induction motor(s) off whenever possible. In fact you will find that for most driving, except for fast acceleration, uphill, and traction loss the induction motor simply stays off all together. The switching...

Range for AWD Cybertruck 200-250 miles after many real world tests

Obviously, @HaulingAss has seen @newwave1331 request for proof seeing he liked the next posts. But dare anyone say the Cybertruck has poor range, anyone that does should henceforth be labelled a denier of the faith, because the almighty Cybertruck ball bearings haven't been worn in yet. LMAO...

Range for AWD Cybertruck 200-250 miles after many real world tests

I would like to see this too. I doubt we will, because there's a physics problem and EPA tests are rubbish to begin with.

There was more range information than that, the convo just landed here and the title didn't change.

Range for AWD Cybertruck 200-250 miles after many real world tests

Sounds like you are saying the same thing, but just a bit annoyed about someone questioning the "manliness" of a truck? ;) Every tool has its purpose, and the way I see it if you want to tow long range, you either need a aero trailer and CT air scoop, or skip staright to a Semi. Simply the...

Range for AWD Cybertruck 200-250 miles after many real world tests

Dude there were three other people that complained about the same thing. At least you noticed my post. But that didn't stop you going on another rant, that is the exact same thing again. Again 11 to 9 please. --- On the subject of exoskeleton YOU ARE STILL WRONG. You just don't have the...
