  1. Vehicle to Home (Ford Figured it Out)

I don't think that Ford is planning to give us this option, I feel there is a reason that they haven't mention the cost and installation cost of the charger that allows for vehicle to house. Having said that, I would probably pay it. It seems that this would open up Tesla to offer a power...
  2. Vehicle to Home (Ford Figured it Out)

I'm hoping this will lead to Tesla into making all their vehicles this way. In the very least it seems that it should be an option with a power wall.
  3. Make My Roof ALL Solar!

I'm guessing you are thinking that solar on the cybertruck is silly in Canada, but every little bit helps, even if it only takes care of daily trickle energy loss, plus because you live in Canada, doesn't mean you have to stay in Canada, and besides, Cool is cool, no matter where you are at.
  4. Make My Roof ALL Solar!

I'm still hoping for a second Tonneau that slides from over the roof, and stops and any point on the top while driving, can can continue over the windshield when stopped. That should add 30 miles a day.
  5. Tesla Battery Day Announced For September 15 (Predictions anyone?)

I may be an optimist but I see that people in cities with clean air now, like it, and like it so much that more people are wanting their next car to be electric. Perhaps this virus will shine a light on the real problem, and will ultimately push us to clean energy. For the battery day, I'm...
  6. Does anyone know the life expectancy of the Tesla Model S and the Cybertruck?

That's when we know AI has gone too far, on the other hand, it may indicate AI has a sense of humor and won't kill us all.
  7. Gen 3 Tesla Wall Charger Launched, Now With WiFi

If the PowerWall set up would allow for a tesla EV to connect to it, then you could go a month without power.
  8. Gen 3 Tesla Wall Charger Launched, Now With WiFi

Yes, I would like to see something like that by Tesla, I'll keep my fingers crossed for a similar product released by Tesla in a couple of years.
  9. Gen 3 Tesla Wall Charger Launched, Now With WiFi

My vision is to pay around $1K for a charger system, that will allow for reverse usage, that is the vehicle can power your house when the power is out. This would fit in very well with solar and wall battery, and would allow for higher amperage charging to your vehicles.
  10. When will the first movie show someone being tortured or killed using electricity associated Tesla?

It isn't like everything that can be done to torture people can't already be done with the regular truck, with a camper. Having said that, I suspect it would take over 3 years, if a real one is being used.
  11. Motor Life

It seems to be the motors were already rated for a million miles, I've listened to podcasts that claimed that other than defective motors, no other motors have been replaced.
  12. Does anyone know the life expectancy of the Tesla Model S and the Cybertruck?

It is rumored that the Cyber Truck will use the up coming million mile battery, however we will not know until it is officially announced. I believe that there are Tesla S's out on the road that have gone over 300,000 miles, and if I recall an S that just celebrated a 1,000,000 KM, of course...
  13. New coolant and battery design

Hopefully we will find out the whole story next quarter, at the battery event.
  14. Do you think battery mileage will increase?

Again, think of a million trucks getting that much energy per year.
  15. Do you think battery mileage will increase?

You are correct, but look at it this way, how much would it charge in a year, two years... every little bit helps.
  16. Do you think battery mileage will increase?

I like the idea of the solar option, if you do get stuck in the boondocks, all you have to do is wait for sunlight, not saying you will make it home that night, but you will eventually make it to a charger. Now it will be interesting to see if the solar with the flip outs will create enough...
  17. Do you think battery mileage will increase?

I'm going with the tri motor for the range, and yes I'm going to enjoy the hell out or the 0-60 2.9.
