If you rent out the truck, the insurance will be very expensive and not cost constructive for a depreciating asset. Unless you pay cash,your monthly payments coupled with insurance costs may be challenging. Why not pass the Vin to the next person in line and eat the 1k.? I agree with others...

There is a DIY fix for adjusting the height of the cover before it hides as it roll down. Why not take the lead cover off so you have better access. Refer to the post “ Is your tonneau cover not going down”

I believe base auto pilot is now pro-forma on all Tesla cars. FSD is an option included with FS.

Price-in insurance costs and don’t stretch yourself to the point you stay awake at night. You must be in the high 1129xxx crowd…..if so,reservations in Nov/December 2019 have a lot of runway left. If any good comes from your reservation is that you can ignore the order invite and wait it out...

The question is as long as they can sell FS why push a lower priced truck. Are invites still going out for FS? Haven’t seen too many announcing since the 11288 -90 crowd. If the allocations are completed this year will they continue with FS next year? Certainty when they open configurations...

These type of 0-60 mph comparisons need to be performed on a level solid pavement. Still puzzled at the poor performance of the Beast. They never indicated if the tri was on beast mode..

There has to be a way to retrofit that rear window to a sliding one. I like the idea of ac air cooling the vault section.
