I was fully ready to sell my early order but now Iām pretty sure I know why Elon didnāt want to allow it and why Iām cancelling instead. He wanted to avoid the fact that people would naturally take a loss instead of selling a prize.
So for anyone watching the live stream reaction on YouTube versus Twitter, were you scratching your head down to your skull when he kept saying 340 mile range was better than expected?
The proud sycophant personality needs to die. Were we supposed to expect half the stated range?
This is officially a Cybergrocery getter
time for diesel over electric trucks. Makes sense that they showed the 1/4 mile because thatās about all itās good for
I understand that Iām technically not guaranteed the specs listed or even a vehicle at all because I assumed the legal dept. had Tesla covered even though the plain text of the email says:
āThank you for your order, Your cybertruck order is confirmedā
For someone who was actually mislead, itās...
I get that you can call it whatever it ended up being but it most certainly was a āpre order.ā Itās in the title of my order confirmation from Tesla.
I have no illusions to what Iām owed. I knew musk wasnāt reliable for anything but T$LA. Iām just fairly judging the information as it becomes...
to be fair. Tesla took money down on preorders for a cybertruck that could do all that and they just need to come out and say if itās even in the cards
itās going to be a great vehicle if itās under $65,000 to compete with the f150. But even then, you can get a newer diesel that will outperform it across the board unless youāre just doing 0-60ās in it.
Yeah, few people regurgitating that this is on par with EV vehicles. Thatās entirely beside the point of the the announced cybertruck which was supposed to be competing with ICE to offset the market.
If this turns out to be a truck thatās main feature is that it looks peculiar but with no...
I really hope that 11k tow rating is for the bottom spec and Elon isnāt still waiting to break the news that he fell 30% short of what was promised four years ago. Some of us were hoping to get more than groceries with this
Agreed. Hopefully we can curb some expectations because the cybertruck is not a replacement for diesel 3/4 tons. I mean Iām replacing one but I dont have to haul 15,000 lbs further than 40 miles a day. Mostly shorter than that even and itās seasonal. The rest of that $70k goes toward ācybertruck...
Iām wondering where everyone thinks the price will be when you spec it out all the way and what those features could be that arenāt included in the $70k price tag that would be in letās say a $70k Chevy 2500HD.
