It is a Beta Series. I received the invite to order in December but I have the patience to wait for the Non Beta Series so I will not have to deal with the inconveniences and headaches of a newly released model vehicle. It is just a bonus to save the $25K by waiting.
Just have patience. You waited this long. With the money you save you can do some nice upgrades. And have peace of mind that the Non Foundation Series will be better Cybertrucks since all the issues and problems will be resolved and you will not have to deal with the headaches.
If you really want the plate transferred bad enough and the vehicle you are keeping is paid off you could gift sell it to a family member. Than the plate would be free to transfer to your new vehicle.
It is obvious that the Non Beta Series Cybertruck is $20K cheaper. So it really comes down to if the person has control and patience to wait. You can say they have the money to afford the Beta Series, however, you can do a lot of other things with the $20K you save, like some nice upgrades to...

This looks like something that could be useful for the CyberTruck. It can get the mirror view off of the center screen and onto a traditional mirror location. Especially if it can connect to the existing cameras.
