  1. Anyone considering getting Solar with the new Green Act

Do not use… I repeat, DO NOT USE, Chase Fowler or Blue Sky Solar and Roofing, they do not do what they promise. Signed contract March 12, nothing installed and they decided not to install the system as planned on August 10.
  2. Article: Tesla’s Cybertruck delay may have been caused by design finalization

I would suggest that the link below shares way more information than what Tesla has shared about the CT https://www.f150gen14.com/forum/threads/official-2022-f-150-lightning-specs-pricing-photos-videos.3695/ My guess, we get 1 motor, 2 motors or 3 motors oh and black or white, that’s what all...
  3. Article: Tesla’s Cybertruck delay may have been caused by design finalization

IMO, you can’t possibly beat the competition, until you know what the competition is. So, what really, did we all place our reservations on? Something far greater than the competition I bet. Who among us can wait and see? What will the actual CT look like and what options will be available. Ford...
  4. Pros/Cons of buying a CT (mostly fiscally related)

Not so, Pro Lightning, all wheel drive, $39.9k BEFORE tax incentives. CT $10k more for all wheel drive. I’m glad you think the value remains on the Tesla side, after all, somebody’s gotta pay for that brand new plant in Texas. Somebody’s gotta keep Americans working (hoping that Tesla doesn’t...
  5. Pros/Cons of buying a CT (mostly fiscally related)

Can’t wait to see the final design so we all can stop assuming what we’re gonna get. There are alternatives to the CT that are currently less (for all wheel drive), if cost is a significant hurdle, but, most all the same pros apply. 21 years in southwest CO and have yet to deal with hailstorms...
  6. Giant Cybertruck silhouette starting to appear on GigaTexas factory facade

I would just like to see, a final design, CT production model, ya know, the one we’re gonna end up buying??? Where’s that rig at, I’ll come visit.
  7. Latest From Musk: Production Cybertruck almost exactly same but better. No door handles. 4 wheel steering. Self opening doors.

Purchased my new F150 PB, dealer hands over the key fob, I walk out to the truck and all the gosh dang lights were on. Took me a day or two, truck turns on “Zone Lightning” each time it sees the key fob. Turning lights on? Opening doors???? What’s next?????
  8. Rear Wheel Steering

I would love to see the final design as well. I’m not sure what or why Elon is holding off on this information??? Folks wanna know?
  9. Rear Wheel Steering

Oh but Crissa, wouldn’t the world be so boring if everyone had the same stuff? Lightning provides options, CT has options, Hummer…we the consumer need these options in order to get what WE want? Understanding that you’re gonna pay for what you want, nothing is free. As stated in a previous post...
  10. The Cybertruck was my intro to Tesla

Thanks a bunch guys/ gals for sharing. I really enjoy hearing from owners on how much they enjoy their Tesla vehicle ( not so much from people that think they know). I’ve never experienced a ride in a Tesla but I dang sure know what zero to 120mph feels like in 5 secs. Raced HD Vrods for 7...
  11. Rear Wheel Steering

Options are great for the consumer.
  12. Rear Wheel Steering

I think we all should get what we saw and what we put our reservation in for, no downsizing and no extra money for options that we don’t need. Dual motor with FSD and nothing more for me, please. $49.9k plus $7k.
  13. F150 Lightning Prices leaked . CyberTruck pricing seems much more competitive now

WOW…. That’s the kind of info I’m looking for. Thank you so much. Keep on enjoying your Tesla.?
  14. F150 Lightning Prices leaked . CyberTruck pricing seems much more competitive now

There are so many post stating the Cybertruck has, this or that, over the Lightning, has someone out there actually seen the production model? Is everyone absolutely positive the Cybertruck will provide more range than the Lightning? Why is Elon so quiet on the REAL version of the CT. I know...
  15. Eight Foot Bed on Cybertruck

I had one on those Avalanche trucks (well the wife did), and bought it strictly on looks, the first year it came out. It hauled a Yamaha 4-wheeler and a Kawasaki dirt bike to the race trace every week end (till I broke my dang neck). Liked the truck except for the fuel milage, poor braking and...
  16. Eight Foot Bed on Cybertruck

I did read and yea it was well written. Still leaves a lot to the imagination of the interior of the truck. I’ve had the Chevy Avalanche and I had several Fords but I’ve never had a Tesla. I must admit the Ford has always impressed me with the quality of material and workmanship inside the...
  17. Eight Foot Bed on Cybertruck

Will you tell us more about what you saw? Quality of material used in the seats, dash, door panels? What did the inside of the truck look like? Was there carpet on the floor? What was the headliner like? Placement of air vents? Were there some for the rear seat occupants? Cup holders for drinks...
  18. Eight Foot Bed on Cybertruck

Cr Crissa, you never cease to amaze me…. Everything from efficiency of Electricity to splitting firewood (which by the way is an annual event at my cabin). I’ll definitely keep you in mind the next time I’m confronted with a question I can’t answer.?
