    Conversion cost to drive

True, and only fair. EV trucks are also heavy, which will be tough on roads, but in the end ICE vehicles suck on so many levels...pollution, maintenance, "fuel" cost, performance, not to mention the stink and noise. I'll be happy to pay some more with all the other benefits.

    Conversion cost to drive

Wow, $2.50 a gallon for gas in Indiana? Estimated at 80 mpge I'd expect to pay under $2.00 in electricity charging at home.

I sold my truck to make way for the Cybertruck! Who else is making moves?

LOL, just no longer properly maintaining my old Ford...AC isn't getting fixed, and I'll just keep adding power steering fluid rather than addressing the problem, and the tires won't be getting changed either.

🥊 Them's fighting words! Ford's Farley disses Cybertruck: 'I make trucks for real people who do real work'

Very correct, heavy towing is about the only place the CT would not be awesome, and in every other case the CT will far outperform conventional pickups. If Tesla wanted to design a HD vehicle capable of serious towing it would be easy enough. The Tesla semi has solid axels, dual tires and a...

🥊 Them's fighting words! Ford's Farley disses Cybertruck: 'I make trucks for real people who do real work'

All the motion that make independent axle suspensions great for handling, are disadvantages for towing. Solid axles are stable because they are rigid, as used in the Tesla Semi, along with dual wheels, and sorry, if you can't see why fifth wheel towing option wouldn't be ideal with CT I can't help.

Article - Tesla Cybertruck: What Will Real Pickup Truck People Think?

I'm driving a Ford Ranger, hauling equipment, motorcycles, lumber, firewood, furniture, and the like on a fairly regular basis. Cybertruck would be the perfect replacement for my medium duty truck applications. A Rivian or a Lightning would be okay, but I really like the non rusting dent and...

🥊 Them's fighting words! Ford's Farley disses Cybertruck: 'I make trucks for real people who do real work'

As much as I like the Cybertruck it is not a replacement for a solid axle 3/4 ton work truck in it's present form. Yes, Tesla could build a serious electric work truck, but it wouldn't ride or handle anything like Cybertruck, and wouldn't need all the high tech bells and whistles. CT is more...

Will the CyberTruck be your First Tesla and/or Electric Vehicle?

First Tesla. Driving a Second Gen. Volt, which I really like. Tesla specific features: SS body, H.D. air suspension, three motor all wheel drive, damage resistant glass, FSD, and Tesla insurance. EV specific: 500 mile range.
