Well... just submitted the "paperwork" to allow me to jump the line with my RN11955**** (2nd reservation) CyberTruck. 😃
I've been holding off since last year on my RN11275**** (reveal night reservation) that they welcomed me to start designing, because I need at least 400 miles of non-towing...
The people who walk up to a CyberTruck are a self selected slice of the population. Without an evaluation of the number of people who see it across the parking lot without giving it a second look nor walking over to it, you/we'll never know what the overall view of it is.
I thought it looked...
Mass for traction is a double edged sword. If your vehicle is too light for the tire treads to put themselves to full use, adding weight can improve traction. But if treads are doing all they're capable of, the added inertia will either keep your vehicle from getting going (stuck in the snow) or...
As a general rule, you cannot buy something to be a collectors item in the future. You'd have to be the only person who foresees that someday, folks entering middle age will pine for limited quantity ephemera from their childhood. If something is being produced AS collector's items, I can...
There are millions of people who could give Tesla suggestions on how to improve CyberTruck, but Munro & Assoc. are one of only a handful of companies that can give advice to Tesla that are both: reasonably possible and cost effective. Tesla would be smart if they moved Sandy up in the queue...
Your powered coolers may be 120v ready, but they're probably 12V DC powered. You likely have a 120v AC to DC converter. My Igloo is <70 watts. So, if yours are similar you have few options:
Use the 120v in the rear of the console with your 120V converter. (takes up rear cabin space 🫤)
Power a...
Test it before you head out for the first time. I don't remember what the grounding situation was that prevented the TFL crew, or was it Ben Sullins? 🤔 but they couldn't just plug in a mobile connector and get a Tesla to charge from a generator. I think it needs a cord that has a grounded...
Did you ask previously about demo drives? or was the SA's comment unprompted? If you asked about it, I would think they're more likely to just make up the possibility. Sales people are always taught to eliminate any obstacle to a sale, even if they have to lie/exaggerate/invent to do it.
Easier than that... Get you an Arduino, use signals from your 7 pin connector so that brake light pin acts as throttle, turn indicator signals turn the rudder, back up lights reverse thrust. Bingo, you can control everything from the steering wheel, center screen, and brake pedal. #PatentPending 😉
