I don't have either version of the Cybertruck, but I do have a Model Y performance, and a Model X 75D. According to specs, the Y should be night and day quicker. If I were to line them up that would be true. But for 99% of normal driving, the "slow" X out accelerates everyone else off the line...
Or you could install one of these at the same time. A solar salesman once told me he puts these on every system when he installs. IF you don't like clicking links, its generic youtube video about the advantages of a soft start capacitor for AC, which helps when using generator power during an...
I don't know who's fault it was, but this may prove a cautionary tale. Most people don't carry 100/300, and that is not even enough coverage to replace a new cybertruck, at todays retail prices, let alone the secondary market price. I guess this truck is a good candidate for uninsured/under insured.
I agree its a cash grab, by Tesla. But Tesla's primary goals are volume. Tesla knows there is a lot more cash in this thing, by ramping it as quickly as possible. They wont hold back production for margins. As supply chain and production processes are capable of higher volumes, they will produce...
Tesla has shown us how this works with other models. The best example is Model Y in 2021 and 2022. You could order performance and get it in 6 weeks, and you could order AWD and get it in 6 to 7 months.
I think FS will continue to be offered even when non FS trucks are offered. But FS...
I am guessing any consumer that Tesla sues, will probably blacklist themselves. I do not disagree with Tesla wanting to limit resellers, since it makes waiting customers so mad, and Tesla is in a lose lose situation here. But many people really hate this policy, and if they get taken to the...
I saw an article this morning that Toyota engineers are excited to get their hands on Cybertruck. Perhaps they, and other manufacturers are buying these. We know Tesla is not selling to them. Sandy said he would pay double. Though, if he bought one, we would probably know already. Hopefully he...
I'll bet when AWD is selling for $59K, a lot of people will regret not finding a way to recapture that $40K, when the opportunity was ripe.
That $59K AWD will be a better truck than todays truck, as well.
Its important to think about a purchase like this in one of 2 ways. Its a member of the...
I cant speak directly for the original commentor, but I have a non Tesla charger installed in my garage, even though I currently own tow Tesla's, with a CT on order. My reason is because my utility offers off peak charging, but you must use their charger, and it is included in the monthly fee of...
Who could do any sort of actual work with white interior. Will Cybertruck even haul anything meaningful?
also me: 7 sheets of plywood in a Y P, with white seats
I want these

I think it starts int eh middle of the trading day. But it will be like a fair, with lots of little activities. The meat of the show wont come until after hours. IMOP
I hope someone from day one does this!! If we can just spray some crap on there and make it look like the one in the video, I am in!!!!!! I was planning on wrapping, but this would be so much easier.
When you deplete the battery you'll run out of energy. Load management, and monitoring will be important. If Tesla gives you access to the 220 volt output, I assume they will give you access to load management and monitoring.
If you have 220 v in the Cybertruck, you have potential for back up home power, in case of an outage. Living in FL, this is an attractive option. All you would need is a genset transfer switch on your home, and a cord to go from your truck to that transfer switch, theoretically. You would have...
