If one cybertruck has it, all will. Elon prefers to keep things simple. Now they may have it, and be disabled, but generally they will let you pay to have it enable.
Seems like it would add a lot of complexity and cost with an increase chance of water leakage, and in the end You would probably find that having two hands free using the auto open function would be more convenient.
I love competition, and that Ford added vehicle to house (grid). I hope tesla takes notice, seems like it could easily be integrated with a power wall.
I'm around 400,000 in line, I want a year of reviews before I put my money down. A year of improvements, can make a world of difference in a newly engineered truck.
I agree with Less, I would prefer the mid gate, up to $5K price. The chevy SSR showes there wasn't much demand for the convertible pickup truck... although I think it looked cool as hell.

I would suspect since I'm a Tesla stock holder, Tesla would have to spin off the so called "Halo" brand, and so I would automatically have stock.
Do you think companies can create a product using their funds, and then create a totally new brand to sell it under, and create new stock for nothing?
At best the 3 motor will be around 2.9 second 0-60, however they may have a Plaid model, that may get you down to the 2.4 or 2.5 second area. Can't imagine what that upgrade would cost.
I agree, every one compares wireless charging to phone charging, there are several magnitudes difference. I can only imagine the power lose, and the increase time to fully charge.
