My '22 sienna was fully detailed and parked indoors in a glass structure within the showroom when i went to pick it up. The set up is so you drive it right off the showroom floor. As someone mentioned above, they need to take pride in what they do. How are they not embarrassed to turn over a new...
The shorter your term, the better the rate in most cases. A good down payment and shortest schedule is best. Ford 24Mo is at 1.99%.
Rate doesn't get any better above 780 score
Rivian makes a nice truck. Its the company's survivability that scares me. They are burning 6B cash a year and losing money on every vehicle sale. stock is down 65% YTD. Can they get the new models to market fast enough to avoid bankruptcy?
As unique as the CT is, one thing we know for sure is the 100k+ truck market is less than 1% of overall truck sales. Very few people buy a truck in that range so for the FS your estimate checks out i think
It shouldn't take long to get thru the line of people willing and able to buy a 6 figure truck in sky high interest rate environment as long as tesla keeps ramping up production and doesn't stop deliveries again like the current stoppage. In 2 years the ct could very well start selling at a...
open market is the crux of the problem. Once pent-up demand is met, even the non foundation truck will be discounted like every other tesla model. 14k+ employees terminated tells me tesla knows ev demand is cooling and is pulling levers to keep the business profitable.
I am a cash customer and the truck is within my means. Doesn't mean i want to over spend. I have gone from waiting on every little info about the truck for 3 years up until they revealed it to barely caring anymore.
I have gradually cooled off to the point where i am glad im a million orders...
Since the foundation offers so far have had 10's of thousands in position variation, i think it would be best for tesla to just call on all 27xxx and 28xxx reservation holders to see who wants to put 1k nonrefundable deposit.
Seems like there are too many early reservation holders that want one...
The premium truck market of 80k+ is a very thin slice of the general truck market. A lot of those trucks fall in HD category with hauling capabilities way beyond CT. There is also a pronounced anti tesla and ev bias in that group.
The typical dolled up ice full-size truck is about 65k
CT's...
If i had ordered a Foundation beast, i would cancel. Paying a premium is i would think mostly for getting it earlier. If that's not in play, i think there are very few who give a dam about powershare or a home charger.
Remember, foundation and regular trucks are the same save a couple of...
i agree that ford ramp was slow and tesla should ramp faster. no one to my knowledge from tesla has floated the 2M figure.
anyway, quit trying to cockblock and just go with this :p
My reasons. Most all of that doesn't affect my 1 year prediction. Huge price difference between MY and 80k CT2. The people in front of me is where a lot more cancelations happen. Orders that old converting are less likely than new orders now that production has started. Many of those very early...
