When to expect delivery when i'm 270,000 place in line.

I think A LOT of people will not convert their reservation to an order (in the beginning, at least.) So much time has passed that many people are in a different spot than they were nearly 3 years ago. It also seems like a lot of people thought the Cybertruck was really just a concept and the...

Cybertruck reservation order number -- how to tell your place in line

I think a few employees will get their reservations in December just so they can "hit" their delivery target.

First Cybertruck Deliveries Will Be Early 2022 - Per Email to Reservation Holders Pushing For Leasing of Other Teslas

There's really no new news here. As someone else pointed out, this isn't an official email from Tesla. Just a local service center pushing for the end of the year. Secondly, and more importantly, we were never told we would get these in 2021. We were always told production would begin in...

What if your place in line cost $1000.00?

Today I’d probably go as high as $5k. Still have some questions about it and want to see the final production model before going higher. The $100 point of entry worked perfectly for me. I was only about 20% on board when I got my reservation. But that caused me to look into the truck more...

Is 4th Quarter 2021 a realistic delivery date for the Cybertruck?

This was posted on June 29th. Bigsur raised some legitimate concerns. It's pretty amazing to see where we are at today, not even 2 months later. -Buy the land for the terrafactory CHECK -Environmental Impact Study approval CHECK (at least enough for work to begin) -Govt. permitting &...

Is 4th Quarter 2021 a realistic delivery date for the Cybertruck?

It's really not so different with any manufacturer. Except Tesla is a young automaker and therefore have more kinks to work through, and they get more attention. I've heard my whole life that it's better to buy a car near the end of it's model run than the beginning. People getting early...

Post your Cybertruck preorder reservation number!

That's what I thought. So, since November of 2019 how many orders have been placed for non-CT Teslas? If they sell 400,000 cars a year it would be safe to assume that there are at least 200,000 of them. And what about solar products? I think it's safe to assume that most of the initial rush...

What if you need more time when your number comes up?

This was also my MY order experience. Putting down the $100 worked exactly like putting down the $100 on the CT. Of course with the MY there were some “next steps” that aren’t available on the CT. Here’s what I think will happen once CT production begins. All reservation holders will get a...

Post your Cybertruck preorder reservation number!

We ordered a MY on Sunday and my RN for the Y is almost exactly 500,000 higher that my CT reservation (like within 100). So that's kinda cool. Anyway, did we ever decide whether our RN's are just for the CT, or are all Tesla models mixed in? Because there was a pretty popular little Tesla SUV...

    True Price of the Cybertruck

Thanks for the feedback. I think I'm going to pass on the idea. I feel confident I could make it work financially, might even come out ahead. But I have some kids that are older teens/young adults and I don't want to send them a message that it's a good idea to buy a new car every couple years.

    True Price of the Cybertruck

I'm not a fan of either candidate, but the potential for an EV friendly administration does pique my interest. We're a bit spoiled here in Oregon. No sales tax and up to $5,000 in EV incentives.

    True Price of the Cybertruck

Speaking of potential savings... My plan was to buy the CT in about 2 years. Trade in our current SUV. But here’s another scenario I’ve been toying with. I could trade in the SUV and buy a Model Y now. Then trade the Y in when my CT is ready. Yes, the Y will depreciate, but so will my...

Is 4th Quarter 2021 a realistic delivery date for the Cybertruck?

These are good thoughts mostly. I've worked on all sorts of construction projects, but nothing this big. However, something this big has it's pluses and minuses over a smaller project. A lot of the stuff you listed can be done simultaneously. I'm sure they have architects and engineers...

Can I sell a pre order reservation?

Just a minor correction: They have released LR and Performance versions. The SR versions have not been produced yet. And the 3rd row models. Anyway, shoptruck, I will swap spots in line with you. I'll even throw in a little sweetener.

Cybertruck reservation order number -- how to tell your place in line

I have good news: Adaptive cruise is part of Autopilot, and it’s included for no additional cost on the CT. Maybe you already knew that, but from your post I couldn’t tell.

    Just ordered! Tri Motor

No one really knows for sure. The website shows the dual-motor and tri-motor both in "late 2021", but many people are assuming it will be the tri-motor since it costs more. Similar to how the performance Y was first.

Advance release C2 Cybertruck: Due to the obvious popularity of the dual motor edition, should Tesla early release ten per month?

They’re not going to wait until every dual motor order is filled before starting single motor. At that rate the single motor would never reach production. But it could be a year or so after production begins before the singles start rolling out.

    Should Reservation Price Increase?

When my wife saw the charge she asked what it was. I told her we could be going all electric in 2022. She said, "Are you going make me drive a sedan?" She had never even heard of the CT. "No honey, sit down and brace yourself..." After the initial shock wore off she has started to warm to...

    Ordered my CT

Well over half the reservations ahead of you are going to opt out, or opt to wait before converting to an order. There’s probably 100,000 that already have. And there are people that reserved multiple trucks with no intention of filling all their reservations. I’ll bet you are realistically...
