I hope you're right since FS buyers are paying that extra $20k and should expect more than badging. I have an early reservation and did get the invitation but I'll take a wait-and-see approach this time around. We paid top dollar for our 2018 Model 3 in June of that year because I didn't want...
You could be right since Tesla changes things freqently but I wouldn't count on
I wouldn't count on them enabling a feature that the vehicle is "capable" of but I didn't pay extra for but they do make changes to their policies all the time. If they were including FSD, I would expect them to say...
All Tesla vehicles are "FSD Capible" but that doesn't mean FSD is included unless you pay for it. We paid and have it on our Model 3 but decided not to pay the $15k extra when we bought our Model Y but the Model Y is "FSD Capible" sort of. The vision-only tech still doesn't allow many of the...
I paid $7k for FSD on our Model 3 but passed on paying $15k for it on our Model Y. The included AP does most everything I like and can ad FSD or pay monthly if it seems worth it in the future. If I can ad for $7k when I decide to order a CT, I'll probably do it but seems unlikely.
We also bought a 2018 Model 3 LR Rwd new and paid over $60k out the door so I've already donated my share to the mission so will wait this time. Still own both vehicles and are still the best vehicles I've ever owned in the last 53 years of driving.
Got the invite but after seeing the $20k markup for the FS, I'm happy to just wait. Already paid more than $20k for our 2023 Model Y in Nov. of 2022 than they were selling for 2 months later with the tax credit. The only option on the Model Y LR was the tow hitch and we paid over $72k out the...
RN 1127738XX in NV trimotor fsd
No invitation yet but not sure I'm ready anyway. At the current prices and reduced range, I'll probably wait for other tire options on a duel motor before even considering it.
If they only raise the price $10k as you suggest, I would consider just dropping the FSD I included in my tri-motor reservation to get the highest range and towing capacity possible and subscribe to FSD if/when I saw a need for it. I think that's probably unlikely at this point but doesn't hurt...
If they can just offer a dual-motor with a 500-mile range to offset the loss of the Tri-motor, I'd buy that one since speed and crab walk doesn't matter to me as much as range and cost.

I'm definitely no scientist but unless I'm wrong, burning organic material releases carbon back into the air. With that in mind, it doesn't seem like controlled burns would be my choice to address anything to do with the climate crisis. Turning dead plants into mulch or other building...
I hope by this time, most have learned to live without that $100 they put down for a reservation and not give up hope. I'm still undecided as to choose the Model Y or the CT so will wait with our M3 working just fine until I actually have to make that choice. At this point, I'm wondering which...
Right after the stock split and I realized that I would be able to pay cash for the Tri-motor, I changed mine from dual to tri. Don't care if my place in line changed or not since I waited over 2 years for my Model 3, waiting for the Cybertruck will be worth it.
Since I already have a paid-for Model 3 and don't really need a truck, things like efficiency, ride quality, size affecting where it can be parked, insurance cost, repair cost, range, and how the unknowns are dealt with. If the 4680s become available plus increase the range in a Model Y at a...
