There is some weirdness with blue tape leading from the back up to the wiper which makes me think it’s temporary.
I want to see the laser wipers in action....pew...pew......

There appears to be a trapezoid I hope the mono-wiper is just for the prototype and isn't the proposed laser wiper solution. I am interested to see the laser wiper in action!
WOW! Elon is always innovating… how exactly might a laser work for the proposed “BIG ASS WIPER”?? Will it be used on the starship also?

There is conspiracy afoot. Why does the truck appear at minute 4:20?

The front light configuration give off a faux traditional truck appearance. Wiper will be extremely good annoying if blocking line of sight in the rest position. More accepting if hidden inside the cabin but still hideous outside. If the intention is to cut down drag, I prefer clean line of sight in the driver’s seat.
So true. The I beam and Industrial squeegee looks ridiculous.

I know some won’t like it, but I’m a fan, particularly if the bed is still big enough to tuck my bike.
A shorter bed (and wheelbase) would make the CT more agile off-road. I guess it's a matter of if you want to be able to haul stuff in the CT or need to use a trailer for the bigger stuff.

That wiper looks like someone forgot until the last moment.

It all makes no difference if there's no pass-through for me to take my dog with me.

oooo interesting, im pretty sure (at least hoping) that wiper and side mirrors are just for legal stuff. I might take the drone to the fremont factory next time im around there.

Bed looks shorter. Bed is also plastic lined now instead of SS. I preferred the SS bed.
Giant wiper looks annoying.
Rest of it doesn't look that much different although I wonder about the curved windshield connection to the roof glass at the top. Severe angle of photos gives it appearance of shadow from an overhang which wouldn't be cool.

If you do, spend less time following vehicles we know and the WHOLE time circling the CT.

It looks like they are just taping down a wire/cable for that. Maybe that's what they're testing.

Call me crazy, but I don't like any of the changes. Curved glass aligning with smooth glass? Looks wonky to me. That bed looks shorter, my guess is 6'. No one wants a smaller frunk, and even if the inside capacity is the same, you've now made it harder to load larger items.
I do think the truck was a bit too big, but I do not love the idea of taking space out of the frunk. The windshield wiper looks like it was invented by Red-Green:

Look at how far the dash goes, I'm guessing the frunk is quite deep. Personally I think the curved front glass makes it look way more polished and refined.

A couple quick thoughts.
  • Front end is definitely a bit shorter. That wasn’t just an optical illusion.
  • Big ass wiper on the driver side.
  • Door handle gone
  • Curved front window looks hot.
  • Is it just me or is the top of the cabin smaller?
  • Added: Charge port door flap looks like it's moved into the fender flare

What’s with the big gap between the rear fender and the truck body looks like a great place to pack a lot of mud into. I find it strange

I don't see any evidence of side wings......
