I sent mine back and did get a refund. Hopefully V2 is better because the one on my MY works great.

I would like a refund, this product sounds good on paper however it blocks off some of the view, the red tape was very difficult to get off, and when the sun hits the rear camera it creates a reflection. I would stop selling this as it can cause an accident. Let me know how to go about getting this resolved
I couldn't see anything out my back camera on the Freeway at 65, without this thing... I can't imagine it worsens the view than what my stock camera provides in some conditions.

I got to use mine in the rain tonight for the first time and I would say it did an amazing job. Nighttime in the rain was a real safety issue being unable to see behind and this solves that. I'm not too concerned about the wide angle view interruption, but I would like to see improvement in the sun spot. Even if the product did not change, I believe I would continue using it.

Note: I would become concerned about the wide angle cut IF it were impacting the new rear cross traffic alert.

I’m using this until V2 becomes available. Works well, it every time you wipe the camera for any reason you have to spray a new layer on.

Here is what mine looks like after a 55 minutes drive through light rain. I thought drops and junk would not stick to it?

This is an embarrassing upgrade for my truck. The salt from the road when snowing and snow itself sticks to this worse that just the camera. And this view is terrible. Is a refund possible?

I received a refund but never used it. There is a return feature at their website. You used yours so check with the seller.

I received mine but haven't opened it yet. Unfortunately, like others, I will return mine. Personally, I like my rear view on 0.5x usually and enjoy the ultra-wide view.

@AO-Pete i just received mine and did not install it yet. Reading all of this thread should I just return it and wait for V2? Or is there a way for me to install it without it obstructing the camera in wide angle (.5) mode?

thank you

I would advise against this product because, while the water repellent quality is absolutely amazing, after 3-4 re-applications it created a "fog" that is progressively getting more severe with every application making night performance unusable - all foggy and every light is engulfed in a white fog bubble. Removing the fogginess has been a challenge too requiring some glass polish compound.

If you use the 0.5 view (I don't like it, but I know a lot do), then I think you'll be happier with V2, which should arrive in the next few days. Please reach out to support and mention this thread, and they can get you queued up for a V2. It will not completely resolve the issue though, but it will be better. V3 (data TBA, but at least a few months) will hopefully completely solve it.

Thank you for mentioning this. I feel like I'm constantly saying this when someone chimes in saying you don't need a cover, just use this miracle product, but it's a terrible application for the rear camera, since everything that's thrown up literally sticks to it, and it fogs since the lens is not made of sodalime glass.
