Hi all

After a lot of blood, sweat and tears, we now have DIY kits for full vault/bed coverage in Xpel Armor, and it looks amazing compared to the dusty grey finish of the factory trim. Seriously, it transforms the look of the bed, and everything is sourced, designed and manufactured here in Texas.

Below are a few photos, if you bundle the Xpel kits you can get up to 25% off the total price. If you've previous purchased a bunch of the Armor kits and don't have enough kits left to buy to get to the 25% discount, just DM me with your email or order number and I'll get a code created for you.

For the easter weekend only, every Armor Bundle over $199 also gets a free choice of our all-new Sentry Stickers, or always-handy screen cleaners.

I would find it helpful if you would simply add a "whole cyberturck" option and show the price. Adding one item at a time is tedius and often one has embedded options of "just this one, or the set buttons" and then adding another option later could double-up etc.

Make it easy for the customer. How many customers wouldn't want the whole truck to match? How many sellers would not want to sell the whole kit?

Fair point, but it's extremely rare for a customer to order everything, often there's some options they just don't need, as they already have an alternative. The bundle feature makes things a bit easier, but we're working on better visualization. This was a concept that grew from one product to twenty, so we're sort of going back and reevaluating the best ways to present the options.

OK, I understand the evolving nature of this.

Can you post here what the entire set would be? Maybe with pics and total cost? I hope that if someone ordered the entire set there would be an even greater incentive than just someone who orderd 5 things bundled...

OK, I created a couple of permalinks, each has a code for 30% off embedded in them, good for any Armor purchase of $500 or more. All pics can be reviewed in cart before checking out.

Everything for the Truckbed (Tailgate, sail trims, main bed, vault walls)
Lower trims (Front & rear bumpers, flares & rockers)

The remaining items are lower in value, so adding them via the bundle would be the better option.

This is a workaround, the final solution will be slicker, but it's quite involved.

6:30 in the video in case the link messes up...

Wait, wut? You can peel it off and reapply it after it's been on there for a couple of days?

That does not sound like a feature to me...
😳

Man, that looks amazing! Great job! I’m definitely adding this to the wish list! I bought the OEM Tesla protection for the top of tail gate and the bumper steps but this looks better. The OEM is already peeling at the edges. I’m going to try a heat gun to fix it.

That’s not what I said, but actually yes you are able to peel it off and reapply within a couple of days or so… according to AO it starts to really bond after a couple of weeks If I remember correctly.

Well, you said it's been on there a "few" days and you could peel it off and reapply if you wanted to...anyway, thanks for the clarification that it [reportedly from AO] eventually bonds well after a couple of week or so. A few days to be able to reapply does sound like a feature, as long as it eventually grabs well and doesn't peel off everytime you slide a piece of equipment, or any item, in and out of your bed and it grabs an edge of it... won't last very long if it doesn't hold well long term...

I am sorry for the misunderstanding but that is NOT what I said in the video. I said that I could remove and reapply and I might do that, and then I talk about having OCD over the uneven gaps…. I follow up by saying that I would probably forget about it in a few days.

Also want to point out that AO did not send me this for publicity. I bought and paid for it at full price. Happy to support a Texas based company.

OK, look, I don't want to get in a semantics war with you here over what you did or did not say, and I don't know why you are so sensitive to this comment since it's right there in the video what you said, but my OCD makes want to clarify that this is exactly what you said in the video, as transcribed by YouVideo to Text:

"...But I could I could actually peel this off right now and reapply it And I may do that I don't know It It doesn't really bother me Um it kind of bothers my OCD a little bit looking at it right now but once um this has been on for a few days I'll forget about that to be honest..."

Here is the entire transcript for your use:

So, it appears I may have misheard what you said as that it had already been on there for a few days...sorry for any misunderstanding as well..

Peace! ✌

This transcript is correct, but you originally made out like I said something different. I just want to clarify exactly what I said in the video.

Well it was not intentional. It sounded to me like you said "well, it's been on there a few days so I'll forget about that."

My hearing is not as great as the AI which transcribed the audio.

In any case, the fact that it can be removed and replaced for many days after initial application, regardles of what you said in the video, can be both viewed as a cool feature, or a nightmare for durability in the long term.

Cool if you need to fix a mistake in initial DIY application; or a nightmare if you try to use your truckbed for anything practical before it bonds well enough to resist unintentional scrapes from typical truck bed use...

Yes so to clarify it can be removed even a couple of days after application but bonds more securely after a week or two (can’t remember exactly what Pete-AO says in his video but maybe he can clarify). Subscribe to my YouTube channel and I will be giving short term and long term updates, especially on the tailgate piece as it will get more rubbing. In fact, a corner from one of the ribs on the tailgate pulled up today and I reapplied it. I am not sure what caused it, but maybe when I was getting in and out of the bed. I’ll try to go light on it for a couple of weeks until it bonds better.
