Yea, you can install myQ on a subscription basis if you have a compatible garage door opener. The SC can install home link for about 350 dollars. At least it was offered to my YP when I purchased in January. I agree a real bummer. My previous M3 came with it.

I’m curious why it wasn’t included anymore. We had a 2018 M3 with it and loved it. Didn’t realize it wasn’t included until after we got our MY in 2022. We have MyQ and started a 30 day free trial. I don’t like the idea of paying for a subscription but it’s only $45 a year and would be worth it for both our cars. Opening it from our phones isn’t always convenient.

That equates to one 'Soft Serve' per week......roughly speaking!
Personally, l lick the idea! 🍦

One of many things that was cut with the CT to save cost. The vehicle really should be about 65k but Tesla wants to show a profit on it early so the price is sky high because we are currently paying it. The price will drop for the truck or they will add cut features, or both.

It's bizarre the CT doesn't come with Homelink - even MyQ might me an option for some, it doesn't cover gates etc.. and requires an internet connection to open your garage - if your internet is down you can't open it! I hope they will introduce a homelink module for the CT

I am sure there will be an option to purchase the Homelink option for the Cybertruck. The Model 3 and Y already have the option to purchase on the Tesla Shop

I really hope so I liked the geofencing on my Model S. As best I can tell they did not include a place to connect a HomeLink device. I'm guessing not enough people bought them for the Model 3/Y.

I'd also still like to see geofencing for ride height also like my 2016 Model S had.

I've used Homelink in all of my previous Teslas, but I have to say, switching to MyQ is an improvement because it actually knows whether the door is already open or closed.

well that's the neat part. Having homelink support doesn't mean that MyQ can't also work.

The drive for subscription income is a racket! - and as stated above the app kinda sucks - slow and glitchy. Lame situation all around.
MyQ subscription covers all of your cars, the cost is less than the $350 Tesla charges to add homelink on its other car.
Add that it recognizes door open/close status and it gets better.
Happy to pay $300 to get two cars connected for ten years.
So far haven't used the MyQ app other than to set it up (which was trivial)
