Didnāt watch the video and you didnāt provide any context as to what your service was, but my 2024 model with 12K miles has never been to a service appointment. Do your research and inspect the vehicle before taking delivery. Tesla is, unfortunately, notorious for build reliability. If you donāt do your homework before accepting delivery you could get bit.
I am pretty much vehemently against embedded YT vids in posts. They are pretty much a guarantee I'll never watch them, no matter who makes them.
Maybe some actual text in a post might entice me. I get so tired of bloviated videos like whatever that guy's name is who seems to talk for hours about Rivians on Out of Spec or whatever that YT channel is.
A typical Tesla experience this is. I've had at least 10 service visits with Tesla with my Model S. Now having sold it and driving a Cybertruck is a new start and so far my new service center in High Point NC has been quite good. I have #2 for the CT coming up on Monday. We'll see how things go.
But yes...you will need to be very specific. Most techs you interact with are young and inexperienced. They do the best they know how. Just be patient, explain things, be clear what you expect. Tesla service is not like your traditional service experience a dealer would provide.
IMO it's because they earn money with service and warranty work.
To Tesla all service under warranty is an expense they have to cover, not getting reimbursed by a car manufacturer.
Just my two cents but I think that's what's happening given my experience with Tesla.
Good luck with it all!
