1. Is the "$250 due now fully refundable) only applicable to new reservists. In other words If you have preordered 2019 with $100 then that message doesn't apply?
2. Is that the "$250 due now" is needed to continue the reserved status or possibly move up in the line.

$250 now, also fully refundable
Gonna cost $20,000 to move up in line via Foundation Series not $250

$250 is the new reservation cost.

Paying for an additional $250 reservation will not move someone up in line who has a $100 reservation from 2019.

Correct, it does not apply. You can't pay 250 to move up. That would be treated as a new reservation.

yeah, seems like a dumb question, doesn't it. But it comes off of searching for that (invite?) I got that seemingly disappeared. which wanted $1000 non refundable due now. The other part of the question or my thinking is that Tesla could have been wanting yet another traunch of money down to continue one's reserved status.

What do you mean by " disappeared"? It should still be in your App if you got invite.

I've hunted in the Tesla app on my phone and my account on the Tesla website and was not able to find that message.
Here is what I remember about the message:
1. Since you reserved early you can configure your cybertruck now.
2. There were a list of parameters that I could select from.
3. Due now, or pay $1,000.00 non refundable (could have even been $10,000.
4. Tesla will reach out to you when your truck is close to being produced.
Not exactly the same wording but it did have those four elements.
Do those four items describe what everyone is referring to as an "invite"?
I received it very early with respect to where I am in the waitlist. RN 1129XXXXX.
This caught me by surprise as I thought it would be at least a year from now.
