Last weekend I went on my second camping trip in Cleveland National Forest, and Off-Roading on nearby Oriflamme Canyon Loop. This is a review of numerous products, and a bonus discussion of my phantom drain solution.

(https://www.cybertruckownersclub.co...and-a-brief-camping-off-roading-report.41792/ ). In short, it's great and I highly recommend it.
I have a 2024 FS CT, with running boards and bed cap modifications. I camped in a state park, with advance reservation. It was very hot and dusty. On my previous trip, I experienced 2-3mi/hr phantom drain, losing well over 100 miles over the course of two days. Since then, I purchased a 600W battery and 220W solar panels. I plugged my fridge, phone, watch, etc., into the battery, and turned Sentry mode and all lights off in my CT. I did leave it in Tent Mode. I experienced ZERO phantom drain. I went to bed at 213 miles, and woke up to 213 miles. Problem solved.
Pelican BX55S Cargo Case
Small and expensive, but rock solid, secure and attractive. Put crowbars, tools, tire chains and a blanket there. Good product, but price per volume is not compelling.
Renogy 220W Lightweight Portable Solar Suitcase
Works excellent, easy to set up, all cables present, would recommend this for a solar charging solution.
Biolite BaseCharge 600+ Portable Power Station
This worked fine, charged it on Saturday morning from panels, got 25% battery charged, went off-roading, came back and hooked up to PV panels again and got another 30%. Worked as intended, totally satisfied with my battery augmentation solution. Note: did need small adaptor cable to connect solar panels to biolite, but they're on Amazon cheap.
CybergearCo Inflatable Air Mattress & Self-inflating cushion
This product is adequately comfortable to sleep on, but has a few serious design flaws, most notably the inflation ports are located on the bottom, at the far end of the mattress closer to the truck cab. Inflation requires the mattress to be completely outside the truck and then spun around to slide into the truck bed. Why not just put those ports at the foot of the mattress. Also, the stuff sac is way too small; deflation and storing was exhausting and annoying. I do not recommend this product.
Dometic GO Hydration Water Faucet & Jug (3 gal)
It was brutally hot and I needed to hydrate frequently. Coffee making and dish washing was made so easy. It feels excessive, but this gadget really was a slick addition to my cyberglamping set-up and would recommend it for sure.
Kammock Outpost Car Hammock Stand
This was awesome. Fit perfectly (since I have roof bars) on the CT, very functional. Really added some relaxation with the...
Yellow Leaf Hammock & ENO rain fly (shade)
I did go for the old school hammock, which was a great choice. Yellow Leaf did have trouble delivering the hammock style I wanted due to huge demand, but I got a good one, and the rain fly was a critical part for sun protection. Definitely recommend this addition.
BougeRV 12V 23 Quart Portable Fridge
Might have preferred the Dometic, but this was a fraction (30%) of the cost and it has worked just fine. Poorly insulated (learned that on the first trip), so I recommend a purchase of their fridge cover, which solved that issue. The fridge performed excellently, and a relatively low power drain.
onX Offroad app
This app is excellent! And so is the Cybertruck's native off-roading interface. I did a 16 mile, level 5 (of 10 difficulty), took about 2.5 hours, and my CT did really well. Was told I might lose my wheel covers, and yes, I did lose one. Totally worth it. This truck is amazing!
