Just wanted to make a thread to post pictures of some of the aftermarket camping solutions (not necessarily restricted to CT) that were on display at the Tesla Takeover.

Will make a new post for each of the (4) products (there were several others like "camp boxes" for the Model S but didn't pay much attention to them.

First up is the "Space Camper" (www.spacecampers.com)

This is a unit that attaches to the to of the CT similar to the old truck camper shells, pops up, and provides you with sleeping and eating /food prep space.

Shown here on a CT mule mockup.

I like this one most as it's a startup from local kids who are also (at least some) alumni of my alma mater (Cal Poly , SLO).

Cool concept. An ultra lighweight overland trailer which is basically a tube frame with lots of attachments points for accessories (fridge, stove, storage, etc). As well as an inflatable tent on top. When stored for towing, there is a solar panel for charging on board batteries.

IIRC, 50 or 60 pounds tongue weight so you can move it around by hand.

Interesting concept.

The "camp stream" is a window insert (not just for CT) that lets you direct the cars cabin heating/AC to a tent (shown here on the roof but can be on the ground as well).

So you put the car in camp mode and keep the insulated tent nice and comfy.

IIRC it is a kickstarter project.

Wow, I like this one. Scaled up versions with more room would make for an enticing proposition.

Yes, I think I will be building something like this for myself (I have a full sized CNC machine that would make it easy to cut parts precise.

I like this concept and i was even thinking about 3d printing something like this. Good to know i wasn’t the only one thinking this was a cool idea

Good idea,
Just having a hose to any tent would be handy.

I was thinking the CT should have an air outlet, perhaps with a portable Bluetooth connected thermostat to control the temperature.

But then I thought I was asking for too much. lol

I don't know why they need the whole window bracket to mount a 4" hose. Something smaller would be more practical, even without the interior hose and just using a fan.

Then you would have to deal with weird curves on the top part of the glass as well as the top of the frame.

I've seen a pretty interesting concept of something similar to the 1st of this list, that one could attach or detach by just adjusting suspension's height: a special frame to be kept at home holds the cabin at max CT height. You move the truck just underneath it and lift up the suspensions, picking the cabin up from its stand and holding it in the bed. looked like a super fast sysyem
