Cybertruck spotted getting Chik-fil-A 🍗

From @Firebolt92 who spotted a RC Cybertruck at Chik-fil-A in Sunnyvale. Aliens have to eat too!

Walked out of Chik-fil-a in Sunnyvale on Wednesday and to my delight I was greated by a cybertruck pulling into the drive through.​

It was my first sighting and it was so much more exciting than I expected, a little bigger than I expected too.​

​

Everyone I’ve showed the pictures to had said it was hideous but to me it’s a masterpiece, I can’t really explain why though haha​

​

I’ve been holding a reservation since the night it was announced, I’m so pumped that it’s almost here.​

Just realized that some of the PITA drive-thru entrances might be a little easier with the Cybertruck than comparable sized vehicles, due to the four wheel steering and tighter turning radius.

WOW, awesome that you've been a member here since 2019, and you were there to capture these photos. I've had several people that expressed similar reactions to the CT, but I chalk it up to art. Not everybody can see the beauty of art. The Cybertruck is an awesome example of minimalism.

BTW. does anyone else see that black curb? That's the kind of stuff that will destroy the hubcaps.

Actually I hadn’t thought about the fact that with the rear-wheel steering I wouldn’t have to be quite as careful in drive thrus as I do in my F150 to avoid the curb on the tight corners, so…. I also hadn’t thought through the geometry related to rear-wheel steering and trailers - I wonder if I could bring my landscaping trailer through a drive through with the CT since the rear-wheel steering causing the rear to kick out should make the trailer track better too. Value add post in my book for kicking off that thought process!

Good point. Our local Taco Bell was almost impossible in my old (long bed quad cab) Ram. People routinely hit and destroy the rails for the adjacent handicapped ramp. All to avoid a second exit point on the parking lot.....

At least with the Cybertruck I'll be able to go to the drive-thru again. The DeLorean is so low that when I pull up to the window they can't even see me
