A few questions about safety:
Does only driver's door or all doors unlock when the driver comes close ?
How fast you can lock the door after getting in? Do you have to go through the menus?
On what distance from a truck the card/cell open the doors?
It is usually recommended to keep door locked while driving in problematic places. Otherwise the bulletproof doors will not help.

Current Tesla software has a user-preference to set unlocking of the driver's door only, or all doors.

The keycard needs to be in contact with the B pillar to unlock; not sure about the fob. You should be able to lock/unlock from anywhere using the app.

No one can figure out how to open the Model 3 doors, I think you'll be safe in the no-handle Cybertruck :ROFLMAO:

I had the same concern as OP, I’m glad you can set the driver door only in the settings.

And yeah, people have trouble figuring out the M 3/Y door handle…..it’s funny at first until I realized my friend was trying to open the passenger door and she has long nails and wears at least 3 rings, one of them being her engagement ring with a big diamond protruding off of it.

Dreaming about the deep forest trip I imagined running from a bear who knows how to open the doors and already with my gun in his hands

You don’t need to worry about the doors being unlocked or locked… on the Cybertruck there is only open or closed. Since there are no door handles the only way someone is getting into the car while you are driving is if you pop the door open.

I think a lot of the rest is configurable.

As far as I know, the Cybertruck will pop open the door as you approach. I’m honestly not sure how the passenger doors will even open so it’s hard to answer this. I don’t think they will open automatically. Hopefully it’s configurable otherwise it would be weird having your door pop open when someone happens to be on the far side of your car.

My Model Y unlocks around 10 feet out or sometimes not until I grab the handle.

I remember a video that was recorded by Teslacam a few years ago that showed how this point might have saved somebody's life. A mugger came up to the driver's side of a Model 3 with a gun, and tried but didn't know how to open the door. Gave the driver enough time to put it in drive and floor it. The mugger fired like 3 shots that ended up in the B-pillar and rear seats.

TBH I would be surprised to see ANY new car that doesn't have that feature. It has been a feature in cars for at least a decade now.
In my opinion, any car coming out now that doesn't have that option should be considered faulty.

Here info on the attempted carjacking (not mugging) that failed in part to the door handles https://cleantechnica.com/2021/03/11/tesla-model-3-acceleration-may-have-saved-owner-from-carjacker/
