Great question. This R1T is my 2nd. The white is my 1st. I also have a R1S.
+ R1T: Quad motor, HD surround view, expandable door and backseat pockets, separate driver's display, gear tunnel, huge frunk more efficient despite having quad-motor, build in flashlight/charger, camp speaker/charger, fully active and adjustable air suspensions with Electro-hydraulic roll control system, lots of different drive modes, very capable off road, very good all around view out the windows, Rivian is providing a free adapter to use Tesla's SuperCharging network
- R1T: Sparse service center, short bed, no glove box, seats looks great but not as comfy as Tesla's, high lifting high for frunk, poor induction charger, suspension not as compliant and quiet as my Cyberbeast but still plenty good. No electric tonneau cover at the time of purchase, the use of Tesla's SuperCharging network is limited to V3 or newer so many of the older ones are not available to Rivian.

+ Cyberbeast: fast! Even faster than my Rivian with Quad-motor, steer by wire is dope, soon to be available FSD is a game changer, soon to be available Autopilot, huge 6.5ft bed, comfy seat, awesome adjustable active air suspension with lots of drive modes to choose from, lots of service centers around, awesome UI, software and hardware integration, stainless steel body, super strong chassis and body panels, very good forward and side view, shape like it belongs in 2054, built-in super tough electric tonneau cover that you can stand on comes standard, faster L3 charge speed and can use all Tesla's SuperCharging network, in a pinch, can use other L3 with sn adapter.
- Cyberbeast: Stainless steel smudges shows up easily similar to black colored car, rear view is limited, many features are yet to be activated, the black plastic fender Flares seemed flimsy compared to my Rivians, no HD surround view, not as efficient as my Rivian, so far, steer by wire takes some getting used to.

I really appreciate the time and effort of your comparison! Rivian was my other potential choice when it came to an electric truck. Even though the Ford Lightning is out there as well, I just can’t consider it. It does not appeal to me near as much as the Cybertruck or Rivian. Here in Kentucky there are no Rivian service centers or Tesla SC’s close to me. Both are about a 3 hour drive away. My past ownership is all Teslas. I had a Model 3 then moved to a model S LR. I have had no trouble at all out of those cars. I ordered the Cybertruck the night of the unveil an hopefully will have one in my grasp by the end of this month! I am very excited to get my hands on one !!

Thanks Again for the comparison!

Sound system comparison? Thx
Where do I begin. My 2022 white R1T has the Meridian sound system, one of the best car sound out there, then in 2023, Rivian decided to bring the audio system in house and called it Elevation and took away a few speakers from the rear doors. It is still decent, probably better than 95% of all the current system available. But if you listen to Rivian's Elevation and compare it to my Cyberbeast's, I prefer the Cyberbeast, it just sounds more dynamic, sound stage is spot on. Again that's only if I go back and forth between the two. Rivian is good if you tweak it. Cyberbeast is great straight out of the box, my 2 cents worth. Again both are better than top end system from MB, BMW, Acura, Jeep's, Ford, RAM, Toyota, Lexus, Volvo, Polestar, etc.

I've only played around with my buddy's R1T. The sound system is amazing. I'm very happy with the CT sound system and I think it's even better than the R1T. I did not know there were 2 versions so I'm not sure which one I'm comparing. Based on timing, I bet it's Meridian.

How excited were you before delivery? 10

When did you take delivery? April 12

Beast

How excited are you right now? 10/10. Though “excited” isn’t exactly the right word. It is fantastic to drive and thoroughly meets or beats my expectations. And should only get better with FSD and updates.

Is owning a Cybertruck worth the wait? Yes. But worth the price? Especially Foundation Series? That is a bit iffy. But YOLO and tomorrow is not guaranteed, so I took the plunge. The real hidden value will be PowerShare. If and when the grid goes down for any number of reasons, I think I’ll be in good shape with solar, powerwalls, and PowerShare from the CT.

10/10 across the board! The latest update made the turning radius even crazier! You can whip a u-turn almost anywhere.

After reading all of these posts, can't imagine the insane value/happiness that will be experienced when the normal AWD trucks start to come out at $80k. And when the rear-wheel drive, $60k version comes out, whoa...

They're custom 3D printed and painted caps and lug nuts. The decals are custom ordered in red. The stock color were black. They are all from ebay. :geek:

My CT AWD is all that I hoped for and more. I can't think of another truck that is so versatile. The addition of all-wheel steering erased any doubts I had initially about its practicality as a daily driver. The lockable, water tight tonneau cover turns this practical 6' bed pickup into a muscular SUV. The air suspension and 35" tires make it a damn good off road vehicle. The 300+ highway range, high quality audio system, customizable suspension, tough laminated glass, bug-free windshield, and (eventually) FSD make it a fantastic road tripper. Rust-proof, dent-proof, hail-proof, big payload capacity. . . I'm more excited now than when I reserved.

I’m still on a CT high. I’ve had for a month, two weeks of driving, a road trip, and then two weeks at TSportline who is transforming it into the coolest ride I’ve ever owned. I pick it up tomorrow. It’s like getting it a second time.
????????
Waiting to see your coolest ride ever!!

I’m gonna copy you I think, sorry!

I just checked out eBay. For the price of a $50-100 decal, it changes the look so much.

I went AWD though so I just can’t do the cyberbeast stuff :)
