Aero Covers without receiving email?

Has anyone been able to get their aero covers without having the email from the SC? My advisor in Irvine says I have to have the email before I get the covers from them. Some folks are getting them put on when their truck is in for other maintenance!!

This whole situation is weird. My friend bought a non-foundation Cybertruck, got it in a week, and it came with aero covers. Meanwhile, I've had my Cybertruck since March and still nothing.

I got the original email that said I was in the queue, but that's it. I've also had the Cybertruck in for recalls and stuff 2x, even as recent as last month.

I've been told by my SC there are two supply chains. One for the production line for new trucks in the factory and one for distribution to SCs for all the existing trucks that don't have the covers yet. The first one is sorted out which is why new trucks come with them. For the second, Tesla is trying to work through the backlog in order of VIN but there seems to be case by case exceptions. We don't know anything about how they choose which SC to send them to or the number of covers sent which is why announcements of people receiving them seems random.

Makes sense and I’m not bothered by the new folks getting the like some people are I mean it only makes sense. I have a really low VIN and in So Cal. But it’s just the fact that of my truck we’re on for service maybe I’d have a better chance. All good though

I’m in a similar situation as the OP, March delivery, email that hubs are on the way and no word from the SC. If I worked at the CT factory, I would suggest each CT be delivered with an extra set of hubcaps so SC could get hubs for everyone with free delivery! Yeah, yeah, I know I’m a genius!

Negative, I asked and they said it's assigned by VIN.

So, receiving the email means the wheel cover shipment arrived at your nearest service center with you VIN on it.

I'm thinking those who got them when in for service was a coincidence.

I'm thinking those who got them when in for service was a coincidence.
Could be. My VIN is 001XXX. Thinking I’d get one by now.

That is exactly what my SC said today as Blitzen goes in for a software glitch, tomorrow, and I asked…hey, how about the wheel covers and the reply was, email first, installation second.

I’ve heard a few people here say when they were in for a service they asked and they handed them over. I’m sure if you were in service and talked to the right guy they have a few they can give out
