Anyone experienced “air suspension unable to raise” error? Mine was so persistent that the back tires would slant the truck as if in deflate mode.
Had the bumpiest ride back home last weekend & took it straight to service on Sunday. The truck drove like an old pickup driving over a third-world bumpy road.

Almost a week in & still in diagnosis stage 😞 Tesla projects 2 week repair, possibly more.

Should I wait it out or has anyone installed 3rd party parts to help with this?

If the truck is in service that is the best place for it. I don't think tinkering around with it is the best idea.

I think you should wait it out. Going to the service center and saying. I want my truck back because I can fix it better with aftermarket parts that don't exist isn't really an option.

Patience my grasshopper 🦗. Patience.

I get the same error message almost every time I drive mine. The error message clears every night, but comes back the next day when I drive it. On Friday I raised the height of the truck and immediately got the error and lost all suspension. It drove like you described “The truck drove like an old pickup driving over a third-world bumpy road.”, it reset that night. I’m dropping it off for service in two weeks for this issue and the two recalls.

Forgot to ask, did they give you a loaner?
yeah, they were courteous enough to provide a MX because of my needs due to big family. I had to take the MX back within several days because of a "front passenger seat error" that would beep every two minutes. I was able to get another X for now.

Update: repair projection is now this Friday, but according to the repair team, they're still trying to source the necessary parts to complete the repair. I understand last week was a holiday weekend, but I'm almost at the point where the truck has been in the shop for as much time as I've owned it. 3 weeks of driving, 2 weeks at the SC.

I think it's safe to say I won't have it ready by tomorrow if they've yet to source the parts for repair so I did ask about my options for swapping it out for another truck at this point. Will keep y'all updated with any news.

Side note: I've had acquaintances with more mechanic experience mention how the suspension system on the truck doesn't seem stable enough for long-term use. Does anyone else on the board have similar concerns?

I realize it’s two months after your issue, but I just had this occur. Back of the truck stuck in almost “jack mode“ level (in fact, Jack Mode was activated and I couldn’t exit it even though the front was at the proper height).

Completely random, had never happened after 1200 miles and a month of ownership. But since it sounds like a known issue I hope I only have a short wait for parts. Fingers crossed.

As it happens, I got an 2023 X loaner too. I originally owned a 2017 X and let me say these new models are MILES ahead of the build quality of my original SUV. I can only assume the CT will go through a similar process and be rock solid two to three years from now. Early Adopters FTW!

Mine is also having the same issue. It’s a height sensor replacement. Dropped off last Wednesday AM. Should ideally be done tomorrow, after it wa supposed to be done Friday.

Sounds like more build issues since they ramped up production. Hope they are not pushing too hard.

Happened to me within 24 hours of ownership give or take back in May (I had a thread here). There was an issue with some connection in the back that wasnt tight or something? They didn't really explain it overly well. I have some concerns for longevity, ngl. But will see how they turn outn🙃

I had the same issue. If you ever put your truck into "off road" mode the suspension goes into a higher level than even the high setting on the main controls page. Couple of weeks later I started getting this error - "Air compressor temp above operating limit. Raising suspension is currently unavailable." Then I get the sharp bumps driving like the truck has a flat. Really bad like I thought I would not make it home. I put it in for service and the estimate came back for $215! I have ~ 8k miles and had the truck for 7 months. Sounds like the air is leaking behind the wheel. Now the air suspension is constantly trying to adjust up or down and never stopping. This is probably why it is overheating. I think the system is leaky and not sealed properly? Is this related to putting the system in "off road" mode? Not sure.

$215 for you to pay? Wouldn’t this be covered under warranty?
