Ambient lighting (interior) confirmed in Cybertruck! (spotted 8/23/23) + front camera display screen view

Very nice pictures. At first, I was impressed with the lighting on the side mirror, but it looks like it is a reflection and not seen from other angles. But the rear side light - I believe this is the first time I’ve seen that!

Very cool progress.

Rear (and front) side marker lights have been a US federal requirement for vehicles since 1968. Have they been on the CT all along and just not switched on? Did the designers miss this simple requirement and they've added them recently? Another minor puzzle...

Also front cam will be extremely useful considering you're halfway back in the car, and will come in very handy with any offroading

I want front camera for higher accuracy, longer distance and higher consistency in detection of cross traffic by FSD, especial for unprotected left turns (for example see Chuck Cook FSD unprotected left turn youtubes).

When parts of side camera views of cross traffic is blocked by objects (trees, fence, building walls, vehicle in adjacent lane, etc) in the environment, camera in front bumper area might assist Tesla's side cameras. Front bumper camera might provide unobstructed views of areas that are obstructed in side camer views.

Ambient lighting can have so many uses if its programmable. Holiday light show is going to be next level. I could see the ambient lighting react to music (very cyberpunk), light up the cabin to match whatever your watching (while parked), reactive safety lighting when opening the door with a car coming by, blink red if your belt isn't bucketed, RGB in the bed for tailgating fun..... lots of possibilities.

EXCELLENT, with all the cameras on that vehicle, this makes perfect sense. It will save lives. All high profile vehicles should have that.

Plus, it will be great for off-roading, and going over hills.
