Has anyone successfully ordered and received CT underseat storage bin from @Teslaunch? I ordered it on 8/26 and it arrived at JFK airport on 9/3 from China. Since then it was sent into and out of Process Center (not sure if they are the same centers) and I still haven’t received it!

The tracking info is in Chinese, but I can read it.

anyone else has the similar experience?

Almost anything shipped directly from China is very slow even getting to the final US entry port. And then it goes through customs, and sometimes switches carriers. I have seen one company that has their products shipped that way have the product go to one or another of their US locations (presumably for additional quality inspection, but it also keeps the Chinese from knowing the ultimate recipient, which is probably good); they may have an extra business day or two to relabel (literally one shipping label stuck over another) and send on via a domestic carrier.

Something the scale of Apple, probably using FedEx all the way, can do better. But at shipping costs that are part of a smaller profit margin (or are added on but not extreme), the slower approach is probably more common.

Yes, I received it after quite a while. Funny thing is that it arrived at JFK airport in NYC, which is about one hour from my place. But it was transferred to California and resent to me via FedEx.

BTW, it is a very good product and fits my CT very well!

Is there any benefit to these over the Tesla ones? I would be willing to get aftermaret, but only if it’s cheaper, I couldn’t see myself paying more the non-Tesla version unless there was a huge benefit to them, the Tesla ones are already way over priced.

I went with the Elecfresh ones. They come with the divider bins that Tesla has now removed and also a floor liner.
