Thought the streak thing was stupid when it came out.
Now I find myself letting it go around the bad side of the block to get to my house in order to preserve streak......
Have seen some crazy high model Y #s and cross country streaks.
Wondering what the rest of the CT drivers are looking like now that it has been out a bit.

No streak for me, it ends as soon as I get to the place and I manually park it. But my over use is 97% so not bad.
Would be nice if it would show the map like the supercharger and let you select parking spot, I have parked in some less than ideal spots to keep a stupid streak going.

Im at 92% use, but no current streak. ive found myself having to disengage way more frequently with 14.3 so far. My longest streak right now is like 56 miles (i mostly drive in the city).

56 miles. Mine is 3.7. Around town it can’t figure out the lane is right turn only. Or the restaurant isn’t this house next to it or any parking is horrible.

I feel as if the streak is 100% for Tesla
1. Encourages people to beat their streak / high score
2. Provides easy data for Tesla to use

I'm at 99% FSD, but every day I have to disengage to park at work and home due to assigned parking spots, So my streaks end pretty much every day. Can't wait for the ability to choose where to park

I also end my streak twice a day when I park both at work and home. I deliberately avoid trying to increase my streak. I think it was a bad idea for Tesla to introduce this feature and gamify FSD. If we are hesitant to take over when we really should it makes the roads a little less safe. I wonder about those cross country trips "with no interventions" and how many unsafe situations they created just because they didn't want to break the streak.

I need to clean my screen.

Right now, parking spot selection is my biggest issue with FSD.

No. It’s dumb and a waste of resources. I would rather them have gotten ASS working for CT vs this dumb streak thing. My usage is 98%, I have to break it every day just to get out of my neighborhood because it goes the wrong way and then again to park at work. I report all disengagements as critical, in hopes that they actually look at them…

I think it is a brilliant idea. It does assume we are all responsible adults and will actually take over in a dangerous situation.

Your theory that it makes roads a "little less safe" assumes the humans initial reaction is correct. If you assume that FSD is unsafe and humans are preventing accidents from happening most of the time, your theory is correct. If you assume that FSD is safe, and humans are disengaging due to trust, your theory is incorrect.

I see my wife disengage all the time when she does not have to (her Model 3 is only at 80% utilization because she is the primary driver).

I avoid disengaging as long as I can and the FSD has yet to let me down. I often end up parked in the worst possible places, and sometime I take routes that make no sense, but I have not had an unsafe FSD situation in over a year (AI3 and AI4).

My experience is with FSD on a MY (AI3) and M3 (AI4) I have less than 50 miles of experience with FSD on CT, maybe it is completely different.

I use FSD all the time, however, its parking choices are so terrible, I need to end it most of the time... from it trying to back into my garage (which puts the charging cord on the wrong side of the truck), to picking parking spots, where I can't even open the door to get out.. the parking is horrific, and ends %100 of my streaks, constantly.

The "critical" option is there for people that just need to vent.
The only options that are looked at are "parking" and "navigation".
This is my theory based on my experience doing HMI research for a large consumer electronics company.

"critical" is the spur of the moment emotional response.
"critical" feedback from non technical FSD users is useless. Without a clear definition of "critical" it is human nature to classify everything as critical (just like you are doing), especially in a stress situation when the vehicle is doing something you do not like or expect.

"parking" and "navigation" require thought beyond emotion, making the data less noisy and more valuable.
