Auto frunk and car wash mode

Hello,

I have my cybertruck here in Canada for about a month now. I really like it so far.

Just one issue that can be fixed eventually. Everything else is amazing.

With auto frunk set to open, it works as expected when I am away from home. Even with car wash mode enabled.

I pulled into a car wash bay started the washer got around to the front sparying it down with soap.

I just barely heard the last beep because the pressure washer was loud. The frunk popped open and I almost hosed down the inside of the frunk.

Luckily the seal at the top is high enough in height that the soap from the windshield did not make it over the lip and was guided off to the side.

I think that the auto frunk open setting should never work if car wash mode is enabled.

Well ain’t that an oversight. Yeah, definitely shouldn’t happen and hopefully that’s a quick and easy fix for them. In the meantime, maybe we have to put our phones in “carwash mode” too by turning off BT. Or just leave the phone in the cab I guess (make sure you have PIN to drive on though).

Weird. I’m thinking I washed the truck since I got that update and haven’t seen the problem. May wash it again today and will report back if the issue happens for me too.
