APP_w142_fwdCamPitchProblem
Cybertruck friends, I’m not missing anything, right? A camera alignment alert means no sort of cruise control until service can check it out in a month?
? Incredible truck but less than a 1,000 miles on it.
(Sheep reflection on the ? because they’re cute.)
Things I’ve tried:
•Multiple scroll wheel resets
•Throughly cleaned that area of the windshield
•Made sure camera/mirror house isn’t loose or anything odd
•Clear Camera Calibration and I let them recalibrate but the same alert returned
The only thing I can think of is the truck was delivered with scratches on the windshield, which after a saga of service trying to buff them out (which lead to other delays), they replaced the windshield and something is out of whack from that?
Service is watching for cancellations and trying to help sooner, but it’s a real bummer not having something more basic than TACC.
I know it’d be tough differentiating between no adaptive cruise (old school basic cruise control), but for scenarios like this maybe an override with a warning would be helpful. (Driving around 10,000 miles for Honor Guard in the last 3 months in a wide range of vehicles, bare-bones cruise is handy.)
Side thing, it’s really cool the app automatically pulls alerts into the Service section for easy scheduling! ?
