Came across this graph that shows the safety statistics of Tesla Autopilot as published by Tesla:
I'm pulling this from a YouTube video below starting at 5:32:
The stats are interesting but do not really show the actual safety difference between autopilot and non-autopilot. The video goes into the reasons why but the stats are an interesting peek into what autopilot (and by possible extension, FSD) will be like.
At any rate, Tesla apparently publishes the safety stats every quarter so this report would be where to keep an eye open as to how safe FSD is actually turning out to be. Crossing my fingers that these stats continue to improve at a quick rate.
