I went to the store yesterday and on the way home, I went to turn on FSD and was greeted by an alert that said Autosteer Temporarily unavailable. I rebooted, turned off, waited two mins and turned back on, the usual stuff. Nothing has helped so far. Cruise control works so, I'm not completely in the Stone Age but, its still a little frustrating.
I saw some talk in another Tesla forum about possibly reinstalling the firmware but, if it's a hardware issue, I'm not sure how effective that would be.
I've attached a screenshot of the error.
Is it possible for Tesla to do any remote diagnostics as its a 90m drive for me, if it is possible, can I contact them to do a remote diagnostic without waiting for a service appointment?
Any suggestions welcome.
