Bad Floorboard rattle with music up

I fixed it!

First, this video reproduced the issue reliably around 30-40hz

I found the rattle is coming from the carpet panel, which has a hard plastic backing. It rattles against something hard behind it. I cut a piece of a furniture pad, and stuffed in between the carpet backing and whatever was behind. The rattle is 100% gone.

Yes, all I did was put a piece of 3M double-sided tape on the flap right around it. Just put a tiny piece of tape when you have the music turned up and you will know exactly where it’s coming from.

No need for service center, you don’t wanna go there if you don’t have to.

Does this help? It's under the passenger side seat. The blue cloth is a bit of furniture moving pad I shoved in. Works excellent even with bass and volume at 100%

Ah I should have specified, it is the rear passenger seat. The seat is folded up in this picture.

It is below the rear seat. Very obvious once you flip the seat up. And it 100% eliminates the vibration.

Kinda crazy: you’d think Tesla would’ve figured this out and fixed it on the manufacturing line and sent a service note to all SCs on root cause and how to fix it for people who report it.
