So. I finally got a few hours and did a little bit of the truck. I have to say. I know as a dude I’m pretty oblivious but can you tell the diffeeence in this video of the areas I did and the areas I didn’t? Without me telling you which I did and didn’t? For reference there is one panel from the “crease “down that isn’t done. I realize my garage is dark. Perhaps the reflection will help. Not sure if I am doing it wrong or my truck was good to begin with but not sure I can even tell. Without knowing of course. Video here. https://www.facebook.com/share/v/1KLtZ3Eb7U/?mibextid=wwXIfr

Ok so first things first if you’re doing cleaning and detailing work in a poorly lit area you want to solve that problem first. Also the videos too close to the truck to really see any differences between different areas. I’ve done a whole truck BKF pass and it’s quite noticeable, it changes the orangish finish to a bluish one and looks much cleaner, it gets all the black and orange spots off and everything else

How long after BKF did your Cybertruck stay nice before getting the orange again? Haven’t done it yet and was curious. Thanks

This is literally the best thing I have done to my truck and the difference was dramatic. It has been way easier to keep clean ever since.

It starts gradually changing immediately. I’d say a couple/few months and you’ll notice the difference if you put pictures side by side.

I got my truck at the end of Sept when they added the first FSD and did the BKF about a week after that, it still looks good, I just wash it about once a week and spot clean the fingerprints etc.

I pulled it out and took some pics.

Would you please share the procedure/process you used with the BKF and Windex? Did you use the foam BKF? Have you used Sprayway Ammonia free? Appreciate a reply! Thx!

I did some more work last night till 4am... Here's the output. i did already notice the driver side wheel area above, already wiped down, we'll see if that helps, if not, may need a closer set of barkeepers , i did have tape down

i put on barkeepers liquid, then wiped it away with a towel and spray away or windex, i tried both. At the very very end, i went back over the entire vehicle panel by panel and used windex on a clean towel and then with a clean towel "dried" it per se, to try and make things look even. i really did the best i think i could this last time last night, when i retouched things. I don't think i did a perfect job, but for my abilities and my attention to detail, i did give it my best.

I like to use denatured alcohol to clean off the BK, it dries really fast and cleans up any residual
