Greetings everyone, I was lucky enough to be chosen to receive one of the Basenor Activated Charcoal HEPA filters. This is my review with some installation pictures.
** I was not smart enough to open the Basenor box before removing my factory filter….otherwise I could have used the pry tool. **
Right off the bat, the new filter felt more robust, slightly heavier, and whether that makes it better… I noticed these changes.
I was also surprised at the amount of staining on my factory filter, 10 months of ownership 6300ish miles.
I personally could tell a difference when driving later to dinner, my wife and I could not smell Chuys at all when we parked, but as soon as we opened the door to get out.... the heavenly smell of Mexican food hit us in the face.
My wife admitted at that point that it obviously worked as we smelled nothing until we opened the doors.
Will update in 2 weeks.
