Bulletproof glass?

There was discussion of how a CT could be fitted with immovable bullet resistant glass - but not explicitly that Tesla would supply it. That could be done to any vehicle.

But otherwise, a Cyberbeast would be fast 😈

But is it expensive, too? 🤔

Sounds like he was just trying to talk about the normal tri motor. It was always supposed to be under 3

So, is it possible that the CT is like the S/X? A dual motor, and then a "performance" model that is a tri-motor? Or more specifically, there is only one tri-motor, and it is the hot-rod, beast, ludacris, plaid model?

the distinction here, what is *not* the ‘normal tri-motor’, is that it lacks the unveil higher range and higher towing.

Despite these absences, i think it may also lack the only nominally higher price

Been trying to amplify that folks need to shake this mindset from 2019, where number of motors is indicative of a broadly different class of CyberTruck across the stats, pack size, suspension duty, etc.

While a trim option will include a third motor, it is not the 2019 “Tri Motor”

Yea, makes sense if the range is lower for sure.

Not impossible

I'm still wondering if they might have a dual motor beast mode. And a separate trip motor

But I guess the moniker implies most powerful, so less likely to be dual I suppose

Elon mentioned a beast option version would have bulletproof glass, the trade off being the windows couldn't open.

He did not say that. Joe Rogan said something about bullet proof glass and Elon corrected him and then did what Elon sometimes does which discusses it being possible as a modification, the compromise being you wouldn't be able to roll down your windows.

He never said a beast mode version would have bullet proof glass. He also never said Tesla would offer it as an option, just that it was possible from a physics-based standpoint with trade offs.

Yes, like the S/X with a similar price tag to match. As Elon has said, monthly payments are what matters most to consumers when it comes to a car payment. With the interest rates as high as they are you’re looking at a $1,000+ a month car payment easily.

It's worth noting that it's extremely unlikely the term "beast mode" will be used by Tesla.

Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch trademarked the phrase in 2009.

no, but it’s far more likely any reference to ‘beast’ would be paired with ‘cyber’

“Beast-Cyber” being odd, while “Cyber-beast” has a very Elon Musk feel to it.

Sort of thing a guy who has a samurai sword on his coffee table would hear and say, “siiick”

kind of cringe, in other words

but so is “Raptor” in my book, and I was one of the first to own one of those
