What did you select for the hardware selection? Or perhaps it isn't necessary if the size fit the tracks.![]()
Had this window screen made at https://www.metroscreenworks.com/ for ventilating the bed. 58.5" x 12". Came out great.
There is a panel on the inside panel of the rear gate that hides a physical pull latch to open the gate if trapped inside the vault. There have been a few reported problems with vault track and button as well as tailgate malfunctions.
If that thing closes on you, you're fkd
You must think Tesla has really stupid engineering, and they hold the safety of their customers in low regard by thumbing their noses at federal motor vehicle safety standards designed to prevent the trapping of people inside trunks and cabins. Maybe you are confusing Tesla with another truck maker who decided to not offer a factory-installed tonneau cover, so they can save a few bucks by not equipping their trucks with emergency tailgate releases.Good to know. I was thinking the vault cover is so tuff, might as well be iron bars if one was to get trapped
You don't like to get caught at your own game, I get it. What I find nauseating is people who try to come up with reasons why a superior solution is dangerous, without knowing what they are talking about. Or maybe you just don't care if it's accurate or not.can you fanboy less. It's nauseating
same here. Still reeks something awful. Smells up my whole garage after being closed in overnight.joking aside about off gassing quarks, whatever's in the sub trunk (not sure if it's the dividers or some material intrinsic to the sub trunk like the well or part of the lid or what) is still off gassing to high hell on mine, a few months after delivery. it really stinks.
Ha. I’m in the small garage club and my truck doesn’t fit inside whatsoever!same here. Still reeks something awful. Smells up my whole garage after being closed in overnight.
Not necessary. No hardware. What did you select for the hardware selection? Or perhaps it isn't necessary if the size fit the tracks.
