Dozens and dozens of designs came and went over my desk while I waited from day 1 pre-order day to delivery.

I wanted a wrap that, if I took a rock or item that damaged the film I wouldn’t have to re-wrap and entire panel.

I wanted random polygons to, in a way, help add to but also massage the hard lines of the vehicle.

I wanted to have the CyberBeast trim be a little more obvious then having to get right on my bumper to see a very very mild engraved logo on the tailgate.

Mostly I needed a way to blend the matte wheels, mirrors, wheel flares and roll up vault wall into the shiny glass and exposed metal that was everywhere.

Eventually I settled on this two color blend that is Black Satin full body wrap with gloss poly lines and gloss CyberBeast, Cerberus logo in the front and Foundation Series images to pull it all together.

This vehicle is literally a blank canvas just waiting for you to express your visual creativity. So much cheaper than a paint job. Might do a whole new wrap again once I get that “maybe it’s time for another vehicle” itch in a few.. years?

I’m not a good photographer though 🫣

I just got back from another visit to my wrap/tint/detail team today.

Had the glass and all the exposed plastics ceramic coated to see if I can minimize the UV damage over time.

This was the move I live in Arizona and the heat destroys all Plastic and rubber regardless of it's out in the sun or not.

I was stationed in Yuma for awhile, exposed plastic turns grey there pretty fast and I didn’t know of any way to protect it back then. I’m in Texas now so a tiny bit better, but only marginally 🫣 but at least there are products and support now!

are the gloss lines layered strips of vinyl over the matte vinyl?

Yes, the entire vehicle is wrapped in Satin Black and over it is an additional wrap that is Gloss Black.

I would have really liked a single print of the entire thing but that would be all gloss or all satin (not both). Once it was complete I liked the subtle but higher and lower (almost 3 dimensional) finish.

Curious how that set-up will last long term. On my CT, the tron lines are layered over the vinyl and some of the edges are lifting slightly. That's the main down side of the layers since it will catch on things.

But maybe it's time for a new wrap if it really starts falling off...

The detail team has been really great. Free repairs if needed and refills these soft spray bottles with cleaner and soft cloth wipes whenever I need. Car washes or any hard scrubbing is a no no.

We have been talking about a PPF over coat to lock it all in.

The pattern with the raised lines makes repairs just a couple of minutes. Razor off a polygon, lay over replacement piece and razor the edges. Already took a thrown rock from an oncoming vehicle. The repair took about 5-6 minutes. The gloss lines are even easier to replace.

locking it in with PPF is an interesting idea. would the gloss vs. matte contrast get lost with that?

i guess long term durability isn't as big of a concern if fixing it is cheap and easy.

You hit the nail on the head my friend. Same result as a full print. Glossy finish or matte but not both.

For now this meets my needs but if I was doing a lot of stuff off road or in the brush I’m pretty sure this wouldn’t last long 😛
