Blown speaker and grinding AC vents

My right rear door speaker was blown after 2 weeks of ownership and it’s rattling horribly now. I don’t even crank it as loud as my model Y and they haven’t blown in over a year. Has anyone else had a blown speaker, or did I just get unlucky?

Also front and rear passenger vents make a bad grinding sound when adjusting the direction of airflow. This has been there the whole time, but I didn’t notice until a few weeks in.

I have a service appointment in February. Hopefully they can take care of these issues.

My CT has a very noisy AC vents since day one, service app scheduled for next week along with other 10+ issues. Brand new truck huh.
ps speakers are still fine.

I have the vent issue too. I thought it was normal. Do all people have the vent issue or is it just us?

I also have noticed a weird noise when adjusting my vent direction. I wouldn’t call it a grind, but definitely an odd noise. I had similar in my previous ModelY, just at a much lower decibel level. Does sound very ‘squeaky old Droid-ish’ (yes I’ve been watching SkeletonCrew series ?) but the kid in me says it sounds kind of fitting. ?? as does the new horn sound. $0.02

my squeaky column was fixed last week… I’m in heaven.

I have another appointment next week for a ‘minor’ issue, but with major implications… but I will save that story for a later day after it’s fixed.

Nope. It only rattles during a bass part of a song like every blown speaker I’ve ever encountered in my life.

I assumed the ventilation grinding was ‘normal’. Both our trucks make this noise. Has anyone has luck with service?

Mine only does it for the passenger side front and back. It doesn’t sound right.
