Just confirmed my Xbox Elite Wireless Controller is working via Bluetooth.

I could not get the Jowua Controller to work via Bluetooth or the USB dongle. Plan to return it.

My son got a ps5 dual sense connected to the cybertruck and then we got Madden 24 and MLB the show 24 running on Xbox cloud in the browser. Front only, parked, half the screen only. There are paid websites that let you do a full screen solution with a YouTube hack. The hack doesn’t work on its own as google search has been locked out from the YouTube app. Why not YouTubeTV??

Any update? Did these work?
Unfortunately no. The car is at 2024.8.7 for reference. I put the controller in pairing mode (which is not specified in the manual but it is mentioned how to on the Amazon page) and it starts showing a rapid flash. I go to the CT Bluetooth tab and it discovers “Wireless Controller”. When I press connect on the CT screen I get an error :

Tesla Cybertruck Bluetooth controller for gaming IMG_5526

If I connect to the USB-C port in the front console of the CT (using my own USB-C cable) the controller just stays in stand by mode (slow pulsing LED) and it is not recognized in SkyForce. So it gets power but no data traffic.

To be fair to the controller I tried pairing with my Windows 11 PC. It paired and connected just fine.

CT display says the controller needs to support Bluetooth Classic. I think PS4 uses Classic so presumably this controller would be Classic but I can’t verify.

This might be a CT firmware issue not sure. For now I’ll return these and try this next : Amazon and report back Tuesday / Wednesday.

Sorry don't mean to HiJack, but anyone get 2 ps5 controllers to connect at the same time? I can only get 1 connected at a time (yes, I tried disconnecting my phone). Thanks!

Still no luck with this controller either. It goes a step further in that no connection error is displayed, however, the controller immediately disconnects and powers down. I also tried in our Model Y running 2024.3.10 and the same behavior was observed there. I also tried the wired connection (via my own USB-C to USB-C cable) to no avail. Controller would power up but would not be recognized by the car. I just got the 2024.8.8 update in the CT. Before returning I'll give it one more try and update if it makes a diff.

Sounds like others in the thread have gotten PS5 controllers to work. I am not seeing any below $80 and not looking to spend that kind of dough for occasional in-car play. I am going to go the XBOX controller route since I had decent luck in the past with our Model 3 with those.

I'll be using one of my white and black PS5 controllers but thinking about getting a silver one (to match the stainless steel) when they go on sale. However, as of writing this I'm thinking the white and black will look great with the CB interior!

As an update - I had given up on PS4 controllers. They don’t seem compatible although in the right price range. And I didn’t want to wade through XBOX controllers tbh. I came across some reviews that mentioned a cut off where older controllers worked but newer ones didn’t. With all the vagueness I passed on it. Since folks here are having success with ps5, I found used ps5 dual sense controller on Amazon for $51. Good enough. It arrived today and happy to say it connected with no issues. Note CT upgraded to 2024.8.12 since last update.
